Our biggest mistake working with 1st Response PA's was not getting to them sooner. In our ignorance my wife and I trusted that our insurance co. would come through for us. In the mean time we got duped by a mold mitigation company as well... We worked with Adrian at 1st Response and the end result was great. We were guided through what to do with our severely damaged home (from hurricane Ian) in the mean time waiting for what became a settlement. If it wasn't Adrian answering our questions throughout the process, there was always someone on the team available to help although in retrospect we could've sat back worry free the whole time because they came through for us. Over a year later and our entire house has been repaired and updated, because of the settlement money 1st Response was able to get us... That even included paying off the horrid mold mitigation company that duped us early on. Highly recommended, they never backed down and we're always there for us. Pics are of some before and after of just one kitchen area, but every room was thrashed. Now we have brand new everything.

I like to take a moment and explain from my point of view how the entire process was dealing with Adrians exceptional knowledgeable experience as a Florida Public Adjuster Expert. From Day 1 he likes to explain in detail the entire process A to Z of what can or cannot happen in the claims process. When the insurance adjuster didnt want to pay for certain damages from our Hurricane Ian partial roof tear opening Adrian was present to prove him wrong. Along the process my horrific insurance company goes bankrupt. Then FIGA took over what a horrible mess. But Adrian and his experts fought back and kept us very well informed along the way. Fast forward to September 2024 we finally received our final payment from FIGA thanks to Adrian and his experts. I really didnt think filing a September 2022 Hurricane Ian claim would take me two years to get finalized and paid. The nerve of these insurance companies! Adrian, thank you again for giving my family peace of mind. We can finally put this chapter in our lives behind us and move on. We now know very well the maximum effort your team did for my family and if needed in the future or any family members and friends we will surely mention you and your company and your team immediately. As career executives, my spouse and I never knew that Hurricane Ian could break us with the insurance process alone.
After two weeks of run around and trying to document/mitigate the damage and feeling overwhelmed with inability to get any responses fropm our insurer, I researched and found 1st Response.
The name is NOT a mistake - they called me back immediately
(it was well after 9 pm when I first left a message), and from there took so much pressure off us.
The forms alone are worth their fee - the amount of detail and expertise they provided was astounding - in fact they found areas of damage that we would otherwise not have even noticed as quicky and would have been forced to file follow up claims (roof straps for example) until FEMA rolled through a few weeks later with their inspection.
The amount of follow up was amazing - I had very clear instructions the entire way - and this process was nearly a year in total from the touchdown of the eye on our home. They became as much a part of our journey as our own family.
There is no way that we would have successfully recovered the funds needed to repair the damage, belongings and replacement items had we not had this individual on our side.
He cares deeply about the results - yes he gets paid when we do -but it was way more personal to these people They want the right thing to happen for their clients and it is rarer than ever these days to get the kind of support they gave us.
We hope never to walk the hurricane process again but Iwe would NOT hesistate to hire them again.
Many people will tell you that all a public adjuster does is add cost - this is unequivocally false - they understand the law, they understand the insurance biz and unlike many other PAs, this company starts immediately with a lawyer ready from day 1. It is solely because of this team that we can say we are fully and fairly resolved for our claims.

We are so blessed to have 1st Response Public Adjusters working on our behalf. After hurricane Ian hit, we were in total shock and didn't even know where to begin. Our house was a complete wreck, no water, no electricicty, just devastation everywhere. Once we were able to get to an area of cell service, we reached out to Adrian and his team. From the very first phone call, you know they are there to support you and help you in any way they can. The very next day they were here with their emergency response team to stop and remediate all damages to the home. They explained every aspect of what's to come, what we can expect and put us at ease. I mean how can anyone be at ease when your looking at the sky from inside your home though the big hole in your roof? But, they managed to put us at ease and make us feel like everything was going to be okay. We are very thankful Adrian and his team were put in our path!
