Contacted King Adjusting about a very stressful insurance claim. Mr. King sounded concerned and wanted to help. Reached out again with needed information for him but got no response. A WEEK later was told that they were off handling storm claims and couldn't handle any more claims efficiently. This storm hit after I had spoken with Mr. King. So they basically left me hanging in this stressful situation one more week and then blew me off.

I'm probably like a lot of people. I buy insurance for peace of mind, but when I need to file a claim, I usually just accept what the insurance company offers and absorb any additional cost on top of my deductible for the repairs. I know I can file additional paperwork to get more reimbursement, but I'm too busy with my job, family, and kids to deal with the insurance company. In 2023, I had the misfortune of having a couple of my properties damaged by a wind and hail storm. My insurance company was difficult to deal with regarding these two claims. They made excuses to deny my claims, even when the adjuster they sent didn't go up onto the roof to look at the damage. At the time, I didn't even know what a public adjuster was, but I knew I needed help and enlisted King Adjusting Services to be my advocate. The team from King Adjusting Services came and surveyed my properties, cataloged all the damages, and submitted detailed estimates for repairs. What was important was that they had the expertise to know what to look for in terms of damages (things that I wasn't aware of and wouldn't even think of) and how to navigate the hurdles from the insurance company. It was great. I didn't have to go through the frustration of dealing with my insurance company. My PA at King Adjusting, Tanis Carpenter, took the time to explain the process to me, and I felt like she was someone who had my best interest at heart. Her communication was excellent, and she answered every text and phone call. In the end, King Adjusting Services achieved great results for me, and I'm a happy customer. I would highly recommend King Adjusting Services.

I can't say enough good things about King Adjusting Services! First, if you are even thinking that you might have an issue with a roof, hail damage, or any other problem that will require an interaction with your insurance company, after you confirm your damage, CALL THEM FIRST! The team at King Adjusting know their business, they know insurance requirements, and the law. They are public adjusters and they represent YOU, not your insurance company. The insurance company is not "on your side" and they made that clear with every interaction I had with them. Once it had been determined that there was damage on our roof, the insurance adjuster from my homeowner's policy looked for every way to lessen the repair and the replacement coverage. He even tried to cheap out and not cover gutters and scrap overage. We would have had to pay for that out of pocket on top of our deductible. Had I not had the great council of King Adjusting Services team of public adjusters who knew the law and knew what I was entitled to, I could have been bullied into accepting a settlement from the insurance company that might not have covered the real cost of roof replacement. They did the fighting for me, so I didn't have daily combat with the insurance company. The staff at King Adjusting made sure I got paid appropriately and on time. I will NEVER place an insurance claim again without using them. *Do not think you are so smart and can handle it yourself. That's exactly what the big insurance companies want you to do. Thanks to Allison, James, Ed, Jessica, and the rest of the team who made sure I kept my sanity and made me feel like it was all going to be taken care of! You guys are THE BEST!

It would be nice if they were legally required to respond to their customers, but since they aren’t — King stepped in, had our back, and got every penny of the claim we were entitled to by the policy we’ve been paying for.
