In the beginning, very helpful, hired people to inspect and document the damage, filed the claim and then turned it over to attorneys. It took me three years in following up with the attorneys to get the claim settled and the strong group basically abandoned me after the initial filing but still collected their fee.I lost lots of money almost $1000 every month for 6 months. Our claim was turned over the FIGA while our mortgage company bought an insurance company for us which is very expensive. By the end of the story, I did not even get the quarter of the money we asked for and while they got their 15% instead of their 20% fee (of course because I did not get the whole amount we asked for.) and after a long discussion and argument
If you want to wait three years for your claim, if you have patience to wait for them to get back to you after your call them 20 times, if you want to lose your money then go ahead and sign the miserable contract with them. By the way, the attorneys they advise you to sign are one of their people who will stand with them against you whatever it is.
This was my worst of the worst of the worst of the worst experience in my life…
