I’d like to belatedly thank Dan Wixted for providing excellent service for me during two unforeseen incidents.
This is my second time calling Dan for an appraisal. Once for my own home, which I was more than satisfied with his experience and knowledge to have the maximum repairs to my home which had a tree fall across my garage and fence.
Fast forward several years, and I had a similar issue at my mothers home with a fallen tree damaging her roof.
In both incidents, he coordinated with the insurance rep in a very timely manner in order to have home repaired as quickly as possible.
Once again, thank you Dan for providing a reliable and valuable service.

Daniel was absolutely wonderful. He was so helpful taking care of my insurance claim. He navigated everything with the insurance company. From bringing in mold mediation people to assessing all the damage. Working with the insurance company to get a fair price for repairs and replacement. I really don’t know what I would’ve done without him. I would highly recommend him.

Update: changing my review to one star for lying. This is not a fake review and 2, you didn’t spend 20 minutes on the phone with me like you said in your reply to my initial review, it was 5(see picture). You asked questions I did not know the answer too. I told you I was not up to date on these damages which I also said happened recently and I specifically asked if you could connect with my exgilfriend. I also told you I wasn’t aware of this entire process. You didn’t even give me time to pull up my insurance and when I said I wasn’t sure of my insurance you then said you didn’t want to be involved and ended the call.

Update 2: They updated the section where they lied about being on the phone for 20 minutes but I screenshotted it because I knew they would do that. Sad they didn’t update the additional lies in their reply. Looks like they’re the one fishing ?

I was so overwhelmed when my basement flooded. As a single mom I didn’t have the time or energy to deal with it. A friend suggested I hire a private adjuster. Working with Dan was a great decision. From start to finish everything was clear with Dan. We have to admit we were
skeptical at first hiring an adjuster as I’ve heard things from overcharging and sorts that made us shy away. In the end my
Insurance company took an approach to just ignore us in hopes we’d go away. From the moment I hired Dan we felt secure that things would be handled. As a person with 3 decades in the construction business, it was obvious Dan knew all the in’s and outs and paid attention to every detail of job estimating. When my kitchen flooded, I went straight on Google to find a local public adjuster. I came across Dan and read his reviews. So I reached out by filling out the form on his website. He contacted me back right away and came straight over my house. Since, my kitchen flooded he took care of contacting a clean up company, that came our the next day. Dan also took care of dealing with my homeowners insurance and keep me updated every step of the way. He's very professional and worked for my family needs and got the money needed to fix the emergency situation. I will highly recommend him to anyone and will definitely contact him again, if ever needed.

Water, water everywhere is not something you want to see in your home!! After a water pipe break and major flood in our home we called Dan Wixted. In the midst of a disaster. Dan kept us calm and hopeful that we could “weather this internal storm”. He immediately called in his team of excellent professional staff from CPR to clean up, dispose of soaked materials and keep us informed about what to expect. Dan was so thorough, efficient and meticulous in assessing the major damage to 3 floors of our house. He worked with the insurer to assure that we could maximize the settlement of our damage. He kept us well informed throughout the process.
Without Dan ‘s professional skills and knowledge we do not know where we would be in reconstructing the interior of our home! Above all, Dan provided us a literal professional and personal lifeline to navigate the complex waters of insurance claims. We would always call Dan for help in these situations but hope not to!
