I have retned from AIM for 5 years, they have moved me several times always making sure to find the best and safe place for me and my family. Repairs are always done, the office is always profesional and they truly does care about there landlords and tenants. I have so much grattitude for AIM, when Im ready to purchase that will be my number one choice.

Rented from AIM for 2 years. I rarely heard from them, except once or twice they told me to clean up my yard because of weeds (spring) no biggie they referred me to landscapers that took care of it. Besides that they were very easy to work with. Anytime I had a maintenance issue Ana always took my calls and someone was out within 1 or 2 days or atleast called me to schedule. When I moved out I gave a 30 day notice, did a move out inspection walk thru so I knew what they would charge from my deposit and what I could try to take care of and then when I turned in my keys I got most of my deposit in the mail within a couple weeks. I’m in Texas now but if I ever go back to yucca valley I will rent with them again.

As a renter for the past 3 years, lack of communication for work orders was the most time consuming. From things like leaking swamp cooler, a light switch that continuously shorted out, or a hole in the wall caused by a leak upstairs would take weeks and several phone calls or in-person visits to get the service man to make an appointment with us. I wish I could call the repairmen directly, but that was not their process for work orders.
When we first moved in, there was a broken screen door, and we reported it kindly to their receptionist. After 4 months and many phone calls the screen door was fixed. Our miniblinds in the living room broke one day that first year while pulling them up. We reported the damage and AIM told me they would not replace them until we moved out. That we can choose to toss them or repair them. We choose to put up a simple curtain.
The last week in the apartment we had a move-out inspector come visit and we were told we needed to replace all the broken mini-blinds. Not only did we take multiple trips to Home Depot to get the right size and have them cut to fit during a very busy week but we were enraged that we had to replace them at all. If we had been told back in the first year it was our responsibility to replace, we would of then or planned accordingly. But the conversation during the first year was they would replace at move out. The receptionists told us that it is common knowledge that miniblinds are a tenant’s responsibility. The mini-blinds were not listed in the contract about appliances or items that we were held responsible for. We replaced the miniblinds and spent many hours cleaning the apartment. We wanted to leave the apartment dirty, like it was for us when we were given the keys. We choose not to because we don’t want to bring frustration and a bad start to the next tenant, they deserve a clean apartment. We desired to leave the apartment a messy black hole because AIM has sucked out so much of our energy and money. I highly do not recommend this company.

This women Anna and Chanel, along with the entire company behave rude, snooty and unsophisticated. Their company is partially owned by a woman named Cindy and her husband Jerry works as their plumber. Jerry tattle taled to Anna that I was rude by hanging up on him. The call was over and like a normal person I then hung up. Yes. I hung up when the call was over. This sparked multiple attempts to start eviction with my family
We paid our rent throughout covid and have done more good to the property than damage but they keep citing paint on walls as damage. They also lie about their behaviors and procedures. Anna acts like she is a gift from heaven and talks like she has a really really large stick up hers. As she makes up all the claimed damage, my electrical and door access both front and back were compromised for 6 months. The roof over a year now requiring 1/2 of it to be replaced and numerous flood cleanings. They are the worst in the area and if I were one of the women that worked there I'd be so embarrassed, I would be miaerable if I acted like they do.

Aim has been professional and accessible in every interaction we have had with them. The property is well maintained, and when we have had problems, they have been fixed quickly with no questions or hassle. We have mostly worked with Mandy and Maggie, but everyone in the office has been personable and respectful, and I recommend them strongly.
