Well I promised I would update you all on my last review of Chris and Business Financial Solutions. I was able to buy the home I wanted!! Chris really helped at the crucial time with last minute notice last year.

Update on year 2 of my taxes with them, it was sooo nice, mainly due to the fact he made it easy as possible to do my taxes as a business owner and w2 employee. This year I got over $4000 back 🙂 he was able to find very unique write offs that I have never heard of. Also he has a pretty cool record collection and we just might have listened to some Beatles and Of Monsters and Men while working on my taxes... pretty rad!

I can't recommend Chris Borg and Business Financial Solutions enough. Chris is attentive, detail-oriented, has an excellent taste in vinyl and is hilarious. In a year when I got hit with crazy high taxes, Chris was available to be a second set of eyes at no charge. While, I still owe a ton of money, at least I know it wasn't a mistake. As a first time business owner I had to do my taxes through a CPA (normally do them myself on turbo tax) to make sure everything was done correctly. Well, more than 1 thing was done incorrectly at BFS and the customer service was terrible. I provided all info needed and uploaded my files promptly after a first zoom visit. TWO months later my taxes were FINALLY sent through to the IRS. It really goes down hill from there. When contacting BFS about my issues and asking them kindly to contact the IRS on my behalf to correct the mistakes they made on my taxes I was told to also try contacting them myself. After not getting updates from BFS, I did try on my own and got through to a rep at the IRS who I explained my troubles to and who laughed and said “man, you should have gone through turbo tax.” GIRL, I KNOW. I wish I would have. Never using this business again and not recommending to other business owners.
