I have known Richard personally for over 10 years. Richard began his career as an Independent Insurance Claims Adjuster with a company which employed dozens of independent adjusters.

As I became more interested in becoming a claims adjuster myself, I would consult with Richard about any questions I had. Whenever we spoke about claims adjusting, Richard’s superior knowledge of the profession was apparent, which is why I felt more comfortable approaching him with my questions as opposed to other adjusters. Teaching me about claims adjusting came very easy to Richard, because of his depth of knowledge. With his help and tutelage, I eventually got my license and became an Independent Claims Adjuster- which I still maintain today. He and I had teamed up at one point and worked many insurance claims together as Independent Adjusters- so I have first hand knowledge and appreciation of his superior work ethic!

Richard’s passion for helping people with their claims, and excellent understanding of the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, has led him to become an even greater advocate for individuals with claims against their insurance policies, and why he decided to become a Public Insurance Claims Adjuster.
Because of his years of unique experience and knowledge as an Independent Claims Adjuster, becoming a consumer advocate as a Public Adjuster has been a natural transition for him, and one that greatly benefits all of those who are fortunate employ him.

After incurring damage to my roof and several other areas of my property due to Hurricane Irma, I researched the idea of using a private adjuster, and was referred to Richard Garron at Claim Guard Consulting. He seemed very professional and diligent, and his fee seemed reasonable, so I decided to use him to battle the insurance company. Richard took on the insurance company right away, and stayed at it for over 9 months, keeping me in the loop the whole time. I had the unique experience of seeing what amount the insurance company intended to settle for (you know how insurance companies like to work), so when all was said and done, Richard got them to settle for 400% more, and I didn't have to deal with the insurance company one time. Choosing to go this route, to use this company, and Richard in particular, was one of the best decisions I have made. Do yourself a favor, and use Richard for any insurance claims that you have in the future, even if you don't think it will make a difference. Trust me, it does!!! After trying to deal with our insurance company and getting no where, Richard stepped in and was extremely thorough in dealing with our claim. He took photos relating to our damage and dealt with the insurance company directly on our behalf. He always kept us up to date on what was happening. Richard has been a Godsend. I have been trying to deal with home repairs from some major leaks and several thieving contractors for the last two years. After getting a laughable amount back from the insurance company I was desperate and decided to try a PA, even after being told they do a little to get themselves a lot. Took a chance and am so thankful I did. He has gone above and beyond. Even after getting a ridiculously better offer than what my insurance company was originally willing to pay he found more they could have helped with and went back and forth with them, keeping me posted literally by the hour. He was honest through the entire process, even when that wasn't in our favor, and although I didn't deal with the insurance company at all I was never out of the loop.

I've even had a few home related issues outside of his responsibilities that I called to ask advice for and he personally called the contractors himself just to make sure I had a full understanding of it all and wasn't being taken advantage of again.
As a young women I have had so many bad experiences just trying to get my home in order. There are a lot of people out there who try and make a quick buck off the right targets but Claim Guard has been nothing but honest and professional from beginning to end.
