They jacked up my rates by 40%, they mentioned I failed to sign a certain document which they never sent. I called Allstate corporate to resolve and they weren’t interested in resolving it, so I canceled my policy a day after they billed me for the following month. Was expecting a refund of the $468.74 - a day or two of coverage, I didn’t get a refund and instead they sent me another bill of $180 claiming I was past due, when my payments where set to auto draw. I buried that excuse with Gary’s office, then they said it was a past due balance from my premiums going up. Allstate themselves are crooks, and Gary’s office needs more ethical employees to convey and send proper emails. Paying for their mistakes. I would go elsewhere, you are not in good hands

I would give negative stars if possible. This agency is very rude, misleading and flat out liars. Allstate itself wasn't the greatest but dealing with this agency was a nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else where they value their customers. The owner himself is very unprofessional, has the front desk lie to say he's not in the office when you have an issue but then jumps on the phone to cuss you out for calling back after they've hung up on you. I had several issues with this office with everything from misleading policy coverage to lost coverage and then not canceling coverage they were supposed to. charged me for months and never canceled it qnd refused to refund me for the months they kept charging me. DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY

I was an insurance for several years and also my own agent. When left the insurance business I tried for several years to find an agent as good as me. Haha! I couldn’t, I switch agencies 3 times. It was horrible! Then I found Jeremy at The Gary Nakamura Agency. I gave them 5 stars as that’s the highest I was allowed, I can’t begin to tell everyone how great this company is. They not only saved me money but they got back when they said they would. Answered the phone each time I called, not with that would be expected but was nice. Jeremy followed through with each of my policies, he even showed me that by canceling my flood and paying a fee that I was still saving money but put my flood insurance with Allstate. He went above and beyond which shows the kind of people that Gary hires. Betty Y

Failed to secure a homeowners insurance policy and left me uninsured for 2 months. Failed to cancel my auto policy when requested and refuse to backdate refund with proof of insurance transfer and notification. Folks here are unsympathetic and unresponsive to requests, not to mention borderline incompetent at securing the policies they offer. Root insurance for auto and traveller's for home is where it's at.

Over 50 years I have had auto insurance and have several different agencies to support my deeds. I have very much enjoyed the Nakamura: Allstate agency, as the best that I have ever had. Highly recommended for everyone.
