Overall very disrespectful experience. First the quote started off with the agent putting the wrong flood zone and overcharging me. Then it was corrected. The price went from $2900 to $1000. Then when I accepted the policy it went back to $2600. I have all the documentation to prove it was a bait and switch. Then when I asked for a manager to explain to me why I received a quote for $1000 she said there was no record. Sounds like they made a mistake and then trying to cover it up. I was nothing but professional and she said she wasn’t talking anymore and disconnecting my call. I asked for a higher to to call me and no response. They know they made a mistake. I just need an understanding. Buyer be ware.

Adding to the reply from them - I requested the agent to review the call. My professionalism was perfect. They just don’t want to admit to a mistake nor take the time to call me to advise they made a mistake. Just more a less put it off on the customer.

From this comment I will be filing with the BBB and requesting the records and calls.

Received an email from the CEO of FloodSimple, cancelling my flood insurance coverage, after I filed a formal complaint with the State of Illinois. It all started when FloodSimple misquoted my coverage but bound my flood insurance policy. After FloodSimple was paid for my renewal policy and the error was found on their end, they told me they would not honor my coverage and wanted an increased premium. I have a pending complaint with the Illinois Insurance Commission and will continue to work with the State of IL until this matter is resolved and an issue like this does not happen to anyone else.

I requested a call via email to speak with a representative and I have to say that I was delighted! Jaime called quickly to follow-up on my request in the window of time I specified. She was a wealth of knowledge about our situation and demonstrated incredible expertise. Ultimately, she was able to identify that we would not qualify for NFIP flood insurance due to our home being located in a CBRA. However, she still went above and beyond the call of duty to help us and to be friendly. It is uncommon to receive good customer service today and hers was exemplary. I would not hesitate to recommend this company based on my experience with Jaime. I wish we were qualified candidates, because she'd have our business in a heartbeat!
