In every dealing with Allstate, whether a simple office call or complicated claim, they are always “there” for you.
There are less expensive rates that bombard my e-mail every day from other insurance companies, but I am simply not interested.
I like to know I can count on the company that insures our family.

I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced worse customer service than I did with Allstate. Our home got heavily hit by a hailstorm, and Allstate passed us around from agent to agent With very little communication. It would take days to get a phone call or reply, and even then the customer service was lacking. After submitting our claim for damages estimated between $40,000-$50,000, we finally received less than a quarter of that only after we proved that Allstate’s payout was against the building code for the city in which we live. We tried to file a complete with customer service and that reached a dead end as well when no one would call us back. The entire process has been extremely frustrating and we will be switching insurance companies as soon as possible.

Patrick's office has been great, we have been insured with his agency for 3 years now. All staff is knowledgeable and friendly. In our time with them, we have experienced returned calls in a timely manner, if they were even missed. Any questions or concerns were addressed. We have referred a few family and friends as well and have heard nothing but great feedback.

Had a refund check stolen and cashed by some random person. This office did not respond to any emails until I shared my suspicions that it was an inside job between Allstate and Wells Fargo. I believe 100% this is the case, meanwhile not only did we pay our premiums to Allstate we need to come out of pocket to pay a portion a second time so that our mortgage company can pay our insurance premiums to our new insurance company. I would be very leery of using this agency as the find a way to screw you after you cancel because their rates are out of control

Put simply, Patrick Conaway's office didn’t know what they were doing when they handled my homeowner’s insurance and issued a cancellation less than a month later. They convinced me to go with them for my homeowner's and car insurance, had me cancel my previous policy, then a month later sent me a letter of cancellation. Now, they won't tell me when they'll issue my refund for a policy that never existed, yet they still took my money and are holding on to it.
Beware of Patrick Conaway.

Update 1/2/24: I received an email from Patrick today after he read this review stating he would be “forwarding the information to my attorney for his review”.

I had to call Allstate corporate to get my refund.
