100% one of the best experience I have had with insurance. I decided to give this company a try, even with the poor reviews. Seems to me, the negative reviews are from people with less than good/great health (again, in my opinion). I am a generally healthy person, so working with Goldsmith Insurance gave me the peace of mind to get the best rate possible. It was easy, fast and uneventful, except for the lowest quote of any company. Great service and a kind soul. Even hearing stories about clients he had lost, and how their families were taken care of.

First off, I took the advice of Dave Ramsey and went to Zander insurance online to get a term life quote. Nanci, with Goldsmith Insurance and the owner's cousin, called me within a day or so. She was extremely nice at first, but if I would have known then what I know now............. I would have hung up!! This has been the most aggravating experience of ultimate ineptitude EVER! They will tell you one thing and you find out differently. According to Nanci, everything was complete, then weeks later she tells me that they need one more page signed to finalize everything. Then weeks after that... there is one more page that needs to be signed, and then things will REALLY be final. Then weeks after that, the underwriter needs further clarification. The Goldsmith Agency operates as if they have never issued insurance before, grossly incompetent.
So after all of this...my account was drafted for more than what was quoted and I have yet to receive any policy documentation. Nanci assured me that the policy was in force and that the policy documents would be emailed to me, but guess what? I called the underwriter and they do NOT email policies and could not explain why my account was drafted before the policy was issued. They told me to contact my agent... huh....
Buyer BEWARE, do NOT waste your valuable time and money on inadequate service.

UPDATE: Sam is very unprofessional as a reviewer previously stated. He texted me that he was "disappointed" in how I mistreated and spoke to his cousin and asked why I wanted to cancel and not allow his cousin to get her commission...what?!!! Expressing concern about an unorganized process is mistreatment? They will NOT get my business or make any coin from it. How is a response like that professional in any form or fashion? How dare him. Well... he has been blocked and I DID cancel my policy with Goldsmith and am now working with a professional, organized, competent, and client-oriented company.

UPDATE 5/18/20: Magically a letter surfaces and two positive reviews pop up after my negative one.... This letter could have been drafted by you, just like the fake reviews that conveniently appeared. Seeing as how rude you are as you continued to text me from an unblocked number, I wouldn't be surprised. When I called AIG directly, they said nothing of the sort and told me to contact you because of the discrepancy. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well. I hope that any potential clients look very closely at how you react and respond to a negative, yet ACCURATE review of your company and lack of professionalism. You are extremely rude and need to understand that in your line of business, you need clients, they don't need you. It would serve you well to make this your vision statement and operate accordingly. If you or Nanci contact me again, via email, cell phone or otherwise, I will file a harassment suit. I have made it clear that our business is DONE. DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN.

This guy is so incredibly rude and unprofessional. I requested a quote at the end of last week. Today, Monday, I’m driving home and he calls. I decline the call, as I was unavailable to talk. He called again and I promptly declined the call. He called a third time in less than 2 minutes. My availability had not changed and I declined the call. He called a 4th time!! I answered because I could not believe it was really happening. I couldn’t tell right away if it was a recording or a computer. When I confirmed it was a real person, I told him it was unacceptable to call 4 times in a row. He said “my computer called you, not me” and tried to belittle me. Yes, I made an inquiry but it wasn’t a good time to talk. This guy lost my business immediately. Good thing he doesn’t want to do business with me! Yes, his words before he hung up on me. I have no idea how or why this guy is running a business.

Buyers beware - stay away! This guy is very unprofessional. I submitted a quote request on his website (thinking I would get an email or instant quote). Later in the evening (about 7pm) I received a phone call from Sam. He said he was calling about the quote I submitted on the website. I explained that it was not a good time and I didn't appreciate the phone call. I said I would call him if I was interested in pursuing and I hung up. He immediately texted me back asking me if I realized that I went on his website and gave him my number. I responded with so what and asked him to now quit texting/calling me. Instead on honoring that request he texted me ten more times using very rude (curse words), called me derogatory names, used vulgar language and even racial comments.

There are other reviews on Yelp from people who had same experience. I highly recommend not to do business with this guy!

He worked along side me every step of the way. The Goldsmith’s run a great insurance brokerage. I started out with little information about how to pick a policy that’s right for me but Sam took the time to explain my options. I’m a huge fan of brokers since they can offer multiple options and Sam had a ton of knowledge about where to start looking. I highly recommend giving them a call to see how they can help.
