I found Matthew Stimeling via a referral when I purchased my home. I had a few others on the list, but after speaking with Matthew, I felt he had offered the BEST customer service and resources. He patiently walked me through all my options and there was nothing hidden or a surprise when I got my policy set up. Later, I added my automobile. Matt saved me money with better coverage than I had prior. He's always prompt in replying to any questions that I have. Excellent customer service and excellent knowledge of insurance industry trends. He'll find you the best policy for your budget.

I have had the worst experience with Mountain States Insurance Group and I would NOT recommend them. I have had issues with both my car and business insurance policies and I am now having to fight with Jennifer daily to try and get someone to make this right. My account was not properly set up and we are being blamed for it when we were personally never notified about any of it until we tried to cancel and then all of a sudden we actually owed for a business insurance policy that we did not even know we had. We tried to set up a business insurance policy when we got car insurance and I was told that it all went through and was set up. After the first payment was withdrawn I noticed that it was not the full amount and that the business insurance never came out- I immediately reached out to the lady who set it all up. I never heard anything back about it. Once Jennifer took on my account she looked into it and she had some difficulty finding anything on it and then again I never heard anything about it.
We have been unsatisfied this whole time with the lack of communication so we canceled our car insurance and then was told that we owe hundreds for this business insurance. Apparently it was being rejected from the bank- again no one reached out not once about it- and of course it was failing to go through because it was not even the right bank account. How do they get the account right for the car insurance but not the business insurance? They are saying that since they notified us about the FAILED PAYMENTS we technically still have to pay it. I have looked everywhere for these FAILED PAYMENT emails and we were never sent anything about it. They can’t even find or provide any proof that these emails were sent... I honestly have no clue what to do other then keep fighting this.
Again I would not recommend them to anyone, this has been going on for months and has been a nightmare.
