We suffered a bad water loss in our home last year. Our family was devastated and lost with getting our home and belongings restored. Our insurance company was not being helpful since the start of our claim. I was advised to look into hiring a public adjuster to assist. We found Landmark and they were a godsend since hiring them. With their services, they got the insurance company to resolve our claim faster and a better outcome for our damages. We are very happy with the outcome of their services and would highly recommend using them for any loss in your home!

We had a pipe freeze event in Dec '23, in Sussex. We got referred to Landmark Public Adjusters from PUBLIC ADJUSTERS Bergen County NJ. It started out well - the adjuster called us and scheduled a visit right away. He came from Philadelphia, which was surprising. He took pictures but no measurements or notes, which was also strange. The only good thing that he did was schedule and setup cleanup, which went as well as could be hoped.

After that, communication broke down. The walkthrough with the insurance adjuster was bad, Landmark adjuster did not remember all the damage and had to be reminded. The report he submitted to insurance was missing rooms and specific items. And even though the submitted amount was high, it did not seem to match what the insurance was estimating. This was expected, but also meant the delay of payment.

The way it was resolved was a disaster. We had insurance send 2 additional adjusters (one came in AFTER the repairs were done!) and my adjuster did not even bother to come in and was on the phone with the insurance guy. Nobody ever called us for an update.

We got tired of it and called the owner, Bill. He assured us that this type of unprofessional conduct was not the norm, removed the adjuster we were working with, and said that he is personally taking over the case. He needed a couple of weeks to catch up and get the ball moving.

A month after I had to call back and ask what was going on. Bill is never in the office but his staff constantly promised that he would call back with an update. Then nothing. After a few more attempts I got a hold of Anthony, who said he was the office manager. He managed to provide some updates, but it was hard to believe that anything was being done on the case at all.

In the end, we got a payment from insurance that was way below the expectations as well as the actual costs. Landmark got their 15% fees of course, but we are still not sure for what. The whole process took about 9 months and endless disappointment. I hope people will read this review to save them from the anguish we experienced.

The last thing I was expecting was to come home on a Friday night and find my basement flooded from my cesspool. Bill from landmark was highly recommended by a family member to use an my public adjuster. This was the best decision I could have made. From the moment we first spoke he put my wife and I at ease and assured us everything would be ok. Had a pipe freeze at my home late December 2023 that caused a lot of damage. Was referred to Landmark Public Adjusters through a mutual friend and they immediately started the investigation and dealt with my insurance carrier. Overall I was extremely pleased and satisfied with there service. I really highly recommend Landmark Public Adjusters in any case of water or fire damage that you may have at your home.

I am very Glad that I found Landmark Public Adjuster. On September 2021, New Jersey got hit with the Remnants of Hurricane IDA, this was the deadliest storm to ever hit the state. Most of New Jersey was underwater as a result.

Our house in the town of Bloomfield, New Jersey was devastated, our finished basement was completely flooded and destroyed. The water level even raised another 3-feet up to the floor above. the garage the yard, the furniture, the cars everything was lost.

Despite having a very expensive flood insurance policy and paying it for for years, the insurance company kept giving us false promises and lack of time to even take our phone calls. I pleaded and argued with them for 3 months requesting to cover our damages but my efforts were unsuccessful. Our damages were estimated over $170,000 and the insurance company offered me only $50,000 to settle the claim. It was very disappointing and frustrating, that's when my next door neighbor recommended me to contact "Landmark Public Adjusters".

At the beginning I was very reluctant to call, but finally I did call, and spoke to Bill Lehr, he was very at front with me and immediately gave me a reassuring feeling that things will get better. He was very understating of the situation I was going thru. He offered me concrete solutions and he even reduced slightly his regular charging fees for my case.

As soon as I hired them, the entire Landmark team took over the discussions and negotiations with the insurance company in my behalf. Within a few days Landmark sent a whole crew of workers to start the clean out and reparation of the flood damages. a month later he got us a first partial payment of almost $100,000 to start the repairs of the house. By the end of the summer, Landmark was able able to recover for us a total of $250,0000 for all our damages. This amount was 5 times more than what I was offered originally. It was incredible.

I am very pleased with their performance, their professionalism and attitude not to take advantage of the situation, but instead help their customer as much as possible.

Danielle, Bill and Edwin were with me every inch of the way and were instrumental in all the major and minor changes I made to my house.
They took over the negotiations with my ineffective and actually non=responding USAA coverage that my husband and I plus my extended family had been a part of for over 30 years.
Landmark cared when I was facing dealing with a company that didn't care or weren't even professional.
