First off I had a few claims on my homeowners insurance so Safeco decided not to renew my policy so this place calls me tells me I have only one choice a high risk insurance, I looked elsewhere and found homeowners just fine on my own. Secondly my auto and motorcycle insurance was terrible service, asked on several occasions to see if I could get better rates and employees would tell me over the phone they would look into it and never call back, then once I looked elsewhere and found better and less expensive insurance I canceled with them and they added up a whole lot of charges when I got money back as my policies were paid in full, one charge was a late fee when my policy was paid in full. Do not recommend this business, once was a great place for insurance when it was all lines insurance but when these folks bought it and changed the name it has been terrible.

We have been doing business with Century Insurance for many years! Great people, great company, and unbeatable rates, but where they really shine is when filing a claim! We were involved in our first ever crash a few months ago, and their rapid response was second to none! And, they can cover just about anything... Vehicles, boats, homes, RV's, even snow plows... I went to century over six months ago to get car insurance and again today to get some help with a problem. Both times I spoke with Nate and he was very friendly and helpful, not only did he find me the best deal on car insurance when I first went in, he was very helpful with my current problem. He explains things and will answer all your questions with a lot of attention to detail. I’m really glad I found this agency!!

Incompetence, indifference, and poor customer service is how I would describe Century Insurance. We have had multiple incorrect insurance quotes from this company from multiple agents, usually in the middle of real estate transactions with the correct amount always being more than the initial quoted amount. They have even quoted us for policies in the wrong state. Today when I called to update our policy with our new address and change it to a rental policy. I was scolded by my agent Krystal France and told that it was very labor intensive to rewrite policies. I called to voice my concerns to the "president" of the company Kelly Clark. Instead of making any effort to resolve the issue of multiple innaccurate quotes or take any sort of responsibility. I was essentially told my policies are too complicated and to find a different agency. Kelly stated that "obviously I wasn't very committed to their agency because I didn't have my auto policies with them." At the time I had four active policies on different homes with them and was in the process of opening up a fifth policy for my current rental insurance, so I have no idea on the number of policies you have to have with this agency for them to consider you "committed" to them. I didn't have my auto policies with them because I did not want to give them another thing to screw up, and I was able to get a cheaper policy directly from Progressive than I was through this agency. It also took them 6 months to figure out that a home policy that was supposed to be issued was not issued, I'm glad I didn't have a fire during that time or anything that required a claim. If you're looking for good customer service and a company that actually wants your business instead of being treated like it's a privilege to do business with them, I suggest you look elsewhere. There are several agencies in Spokane who write policies from Mutual of Enumclaw and the others insurers that Century uses.
