I tried to get an auto loan through them a week ago and I still haven't even been able to go through with the loan. I tried calling them twice and keep being told that I am "in the queue" to be called and I have yet to hear anything back from them. I ended up calling another credit union today since I am supposed to be picking the car up tomorrow and they were able to get me fully approved in less than 2 hours. I can't believe how slow this company operates

I am extremely disappointed with [canvas] and their handling of unauthorized charges from Chegg.com Over the past year, I have been charged $20 every month without my authorization, despite my multiple attempts to resolve this issue with their customer service.
The first time I called, the representative accused me of entering my card information on Check.com myself. While I acknowledged the possibility of being forgetful, I insisted that I did not make these charges. The rep was rude and offered me a new card, assuring me that this would prevent future unauthorized charges.
However, a few months later, I was charged again. I called customer service to explain that these charges were unauthorized and that I had previously reported the issue. The rep offered me another new card, again assuring me that this would resolve the problem.
To my frustration, the charges reappeared after two months. After several calls, I finally learned about an APU hold that should have been placed on my account to prevent these charges. The reps failed to apply this hold during my previous calls, allowing Check.com to continue charging my account through MasterCard.
When I disputed the charges and requested a refund for all the months since my first call, a professional and helpful rep named Chelsea informed me that they could only refund one month. After insisting, they extended the refund to 60 days, but I still refused to accept this. Ultimately, they told me to take a hike.
Despite my requests to pull call records to prove my case, the bank refused to do so, stating that it would not change the outcome. This bank's lack of accountability and disregard for customer service is unacceptable.
I have closed my account with them and will never bank with them again. If you value your time and peace of mind, go to another bank that takes responsibility for their mistakes and provides adequate customer service.
Save yourself the frustration and find a bank that prioritizes their customers' needs and concerns.

We worked with Chip and he was outstanding. He consistently went above what we expected on our mortgage loan and got us into our dream home.

They do not give a single care to their customers and will sooner cripple you than to help you. I have been ignored and bullied verbally and electonically. Absolutely DO NOT use Canvas for financial help, credit cards, loans or any automobile transactions.

If I could give this bank negative stars I would, they are the most incompetent people ever, you are nothing more then a number. They are a soulless bank that refuses to work with you, they don't care about your financial situation at all and treat you like trash, I would never wish this bank on my worst enemy. Do yourself a favor and never do business with thes people

While purchasing a Jeep for my wife at Loveland Ford, Shaun in finance ran my application through Cindy with Canvas Credit Union. With me having problems within the past, with fraud and becoming ill, I put a block on my credit. Cindy was able to reach out, and verify the block and a few questions about me! I was very pleased with our conversation and the time it took for her to get back in contact with the dealership. If I every end up needing a loan I will return to CANVAS CREDIT UNION

I’ve had a truly frustrating experience with Canvas Credit Union. Their lack of transparency and consistent failure to provide important information is appalling. They’ve intentionally delayed providing crucial details at my expense and lied to the Colorado Department of Regulatory Services. They’ve also flip-flopped on grace periods and refused to communicate via email despite my clear request.
Their customer service is non-existent, and they don’t seem to care about their clients. The more people speak up about these issues, the more likely it is that they'll be held accountable. Don’t just sit by complicit and let them take advantage of you. I urge you to file complaints with the Colorado Attorney General's Office Consumer Protection, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Colorado Division of Finance. The complaint forms are online and easy to fill out. Your voice can make a difference, and you deserve better than this piss-poor treatment.

I have had a loan with this company for almost two years and they have refused to provide any statement since month number one but they sure send their unwanted propaganda for their programs. They ended up putting my co-signer as primary account holder and for some reason that means I can not have an online customer portal but my cosigner can, their employee recommended I pretend to be them and create it under their social security number, even though I am the payee. Their employees are very rude and give a lot of attitude over the phone. Getting any information out of them about your own loan is like pulling teeth. I work in this field, they lack customer service and assistance.
Canvas, you should be open and clear about the options available to customers when help is needed.
