This place is a scam. As a small business owner I was looking for affordable health care for my family and unfortunately paid over $9k in premiums before I realized they were not going to pay any medical bills. I even get EOB's showing they paid but my medical provider receives no payment. I will be looking into a lawsuit to try and recoup some of my lost money.

They go under about 15 different names. No health care provider even knows who they are. Was lead to them by Blue Cross when my insurance was cancelled. Figured that blue cross, or the government entity that lead me to them would have given me an option that was legitimate. I've found out the hard way that it's all a scam and you're better off not even having insurance

My experience working with Blackhawk has been beyond frustrating. Having experience in the insurance industry, I have some insight into the challenges of claims processing as a TPA but the delay in claims processing and corresponding lack of customer service is completely appalling and borderline predatory.

This insurance company is more like a scam. They barely pay anything for your service. Instead I had been paying $279 every freaking month. Now I’m receiving bills from a year ago from my provider saying the insurance discount was only $18 out of $250 and then another of $205. Strongly discourage anyone to get this insurance. Total scam.

Not helpful at all. They keep sending me a letter saying I owe blah blah amount to so-and-so phone number for claim one it was wrong ended up having to look up their real phone number. IDK why they are even sending me these papers in the mail.
