In August of 2016 my parents lost their house in Lower Lake, CA and all of their possessions in the Clayton fire. During the following two years we were very impressed with the support and payments we received from their insurance company, Foremost. However, although we made a detailed list of the lost personal property as best we could, the actual compensation from the insurance is based on the depreciated value of the items. How these values are arrived at is not easy to understand or dispute.

Until we were contacted by Rene Campos of Nation Adjusting, we had no idea that it was possible to increase the insurance claims payments for the lost personal property using a Public Adjuster. Although I was skeptical at first that we could increase the payments to my parents two years after the fire, Rene made a good case that he had the expertise and experience to do so. Since there was no risk in asking him to pursue the claim, we decided to go ahead. We are very glad we did. Over the next six months, Rene and his team meticulously reviewed our spreadsheet, and the results were very impressive. Rene made successful claims for an additional $27,000.

I looked at what Allstate was willing to give me, and it was less than 10% of what my receipts were for when they had originally said 50%. So, when Rene showed back up, we got together and I decided to give him a shot to work his magic because I was getting totally screwed by the insurance company.
