Hands down one of the best CPA firms in Fort Collins! Not only does Kevin and his staff have outstanding tax knowledge, they are business minded and understand what it takes to run a small business. We have used Shaw & Associates for tax returns, tax planning, payroll services, financial planning and advice in running our business. We would not make a significant business decision without Kevin's council. Furthermore, Kevin has has helped us use tax planning in our overall investment strategies. The entire staff is kind, incredibly organized, quick to respond, and approachable with any and all questions.

Please find someone else to do your taxes; it is not worth the stress or money!
I had an appointment with Kevin last week and Kevin missed the appointment because he "didn't have internet." Today I had a make up appointment with Kevin and you would think he would do better BUT no, 20 min BEFORE the appointment his secretary emailed me (not him) saying his 9am meeting MIGHT run over and he needs to reschedule. 1. I do not understand why Kevin could not better manage his time and tell whomever he was in a meeting with at 9am that he had another meeting at 10am and needs to wrap up since he had 20 min before the second meeting or 2. why Kevin did not call me himself as that would have been more professional and courteous. I am not sure if he does not understand that when I block my schedule for meetings with him that means I am blocking my time from other things (like clients). This is unprofessional and ridiculous. I was recommended by someone who used Kevin's services in the past but maybe things have changed. In the little experience I have, Kevin is unprofessional and inconsiderate of clients who are paying for his time. Please find someone else, he clearly does not care.

Kevin and his team have prepared our personal taxes for more than 15 years. They always do a great job and seem to keep very current with changes in the tax law. Kevin has advised us on several occasions for various life changes (death in family, starting a new business, etc.).

Shaw and Associates even in the middle of this crazy pandemic shut down was able to make me safe and secure while effectively processing my taxes in a timely manner! Very detail oriented, extremely professional, and advised me about new tax info even regarding the stimulus questions. I highly recommend Kevin and his associates!
