Paid my bill then didn't get coverage, have missed several days of critical medications and calling is no help because the pharmacy service is separate from member services leaving me calling between the two like a child in a divorce and still no meds after several hundred dollars and failed drives to the pharmacy after being reassured that everything is fine and normal. Is this a scam? Typically when you pay for a service and don't get it, it is treated as a crime.

This sort of feels like a scam, i've spent many hours talking to the customer service people. It's clear that they all work long hours and can barely speak English. None of them are able to help me with my problem and honestly, I don't even think it's their fault. I think this is just a bad company.

Anthem seemed great at first but their customer service and coverage are terrible. They continue to deny my appeal for additional physical therapy saying they do not have the paperwork they need when my doctor has sent it in and had a phone call with them to explain why I needed additional visits. Very convenient how after they deny you they write “only you and your doctor know what is best for you” so continue on that path. But they have talked with my doctor and the doctor has told them what is best and needed yet it’s still denied. For a healthcare company it’s evident that your health and recovery is not their number one priority.
