My mom has been a long time customer of American family. She passed away in April. I went in and met with Tiffany and made payments and arrangements to cancel her policy. She did not cancel the policy and now she is trying to send my deceased mother to collections. When I asked for an accounting of the previous years worth of payments my mother had made on multiple policies I was given the runaround and finally they emailed me screenshots from their computer, with no explanation and they made no sense. I would not recommend this agency.
EDIT: Got a response from the agent. Hopefully get this resolved. Will update the review if it gets settled appropriately.

Had been a customer for over 40years. My husband and I canceled all policies, price on home owners insurance just got to high over $2000 and never got a new review to see were we could save and how much policy was going to go up $2287.00. Every year it has gone up by 300 or 400. Customer service not great. Got new policy with a different insurance and saved alot..No people having same problem as us

Overall, we are very pleased with the service and pricing we have encountered at Tiffany Hunt American Family Insurance. I would give them 5 stars but there have been some issues with getting information correct on the first try, and in getting clarification on certain issues. Everyone we have dealt with has been pleasant and helpful, however, and I would recommend them.

This is not your typical review in that we didn't purchase insurance from American Family. However, Jhoana Escarcega-Pinela, who provided us with a quote for homeowners' and auto insurance, was the most professional of the four agencies with whom we worked. She answered the phone when I called, gathered preliminary information and scheduled an appointment. Then, when we met, she was ready with thorough, crystal clear quotes, both well presented and documented, for our consideration. She also walked me through the presentation and offered suggestions for more or less coverage as our needs dictated. I cannot recommend her more highly. Nor would it be fair to assume that, because our quote was higher than others I obtained, that American Family's prices won't be excellent for someone with other circumstances. Definitely, give her a call if you need an insurance quote.
