They're the best!
I know of many cases where they got the Insurance companies to give their clients checks 5-10 times higher than what they were originally given.
I know of one guy that got a $10,000 check from their Insurance company, for a damaged roof, and then APA got the insurance company to write him a new check for over $100,000!!!!

Showed up after Hurricane Sally in Pensacola, back in September, 2020.

I had already talked to 3 different public adjusters in short order after the storm, each less communicative than the last. Only one bothered to call back and schedule a date to sign up, though nothing came of it. APA was back to my house 3 days after I made initial contact. APA was also the only one that appeared professional and knowledgeable.

Quick to come out, take a look, draw up paperwork, and get me contact information. Immediately sent their notice of representation to my insurance company... and then proceeded to slowly stop communicating with me entirely. As someone who has never been through this situation before, it was important that I know why the various deadlines were being missed, but no answers were given. The only reason I was given as to why nothing progressed was "because of the pandemic" and came after a couple months.

A pandemic does no prevent phones from being answered.

When I actually spoke with someone, they didn't have the answers to my questions and directed me to someone else, who was always busy and/or never responded to my messages or voicemails. It's impossible to "just text me if you need anything" when nobody replies to any form of communication.

I had to get their official information from my insurance company in order to reach ANYBODY after over a month-and-a-half had passed from the date that someone was supposed to contact me about an estimate, making two full months from the "someone will contact you in two weeks" conversation.

It's April 15th, 2021 and I have expressed a number of times that I would like to be released from my contract with APA, in favor of a local public adjuster.

It's been a week since the last contact with APA's office (where they tried to hard-sell me on staying by assuring me that someone would schedule with me this week), and I am still no closer to a resolution, or a release.

I'll be speaking to an attorney this week; I have repairs that are left undone because I was waiting on someone to perform a final estimate since December.

If I could give less than a 1-star rating, I would.

Someone came out and POUNDED on my door, disrupting my WORK, and scaring my cats, and left just as quick just to bring my attention to the fact that they left a solicitation to call someone named Stacey on my door knob. The delivery method of such a solicitation definitely makes me least likely to bother with this company.
