Allstate Insurance: Gary Daniels Agency is simply superb. I am familiar with the character and integrity of Gary Daniels since we belong to the same fraternity. I was in dire need in obtaining home owners and automobile insurance for two of our cars and our home. He was going out of town and referred me to one of his best representatives who assisted with our obtaining Home Owners and Auto Insurance with his agency, Lesley. She was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and she provided me and my family with a package that saved us hundreds of dollars; especially, with insurance for our two automobiles. Leslie was patient with us explaining the purpose, the coverage, and cost for this cost savings package. Mr. Daniels agency also offered us a free automobile safety kit. Gary Daniels agency continues to offer us guidance and is available in support of our home and automobile requirements. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have written my policy with lies. I am going to call the TDI to report them for shady practices.

I called someone said "Thank you for calling All State please hold." They way they used to do at your local pizza place before they got AI to help you place an order immediately. I waited on hold for 2 minutes. I was driving on the way to pick up the kids. I hung up. I was calling to follow up on an email I had sent a month ago. I figured the call would be quick. Maybe 3 or 4 minutes. The 2 minute hold told me this would be longer and I didn't think it was good use of my time. I hung up.

Now... this interaction while unproductive would have been fine. I chose to hang up the call. Not that they didn't want to help me. I just knew that I didn't have the time to continue to hold. It wouldn't be something I'd be writing a review about.

The problem was that then.. I get a call back. OK great. I pick up. Hello?

- There is no acknowledgement that she's calling me. She just goes All State how can I help you?

I was confused because at the very least I'd expect some manners. Something along the lines of "I'm sorry for the delay. I saw you were on hold and the call dropped I'm calling you back." Anything. I go you called me. She goes yeah you called how can I help?

Second time without an acknowledgement. I explained that I was put on an immediate hold and decided that I couldn't wait. She says you're on hold for like 30 seconds. Her answer to me was to invalidate my experience. I told her to hold on and checked my phone to see that yes indeed I had been on the call before for 3 minutes.

She was combative. She was unhelpful. I knew that she lacked the courtesy or manners to be able to help me. I didn't call to fight with someone. I had called for a simple request. When they were busy I didn't get upset. I hung up. because I thought that's ok let them do what they got to do I can call back later. But to be called back to have someone with the worst customer service experience ever call me back was disappointing. I didn't want to deal with her I asked to speak to Gary Daniels. She said she needed a name. Note: She didn't ask for my name. She said she needed a name. I gave her one. (a fake one) But I gave her a name as she requested.

She then asked me for an address. I said listen you asked me for a name. I provided a name please let me speak with Gary. She said no that he didn't write policies that he had other people do that. I asked how was that possible if his name was on the door that he didn't handle policies. I had to request repeatedly for his assistance. She said no. I said who is the office manager? She said I am. Her name is Leslie by the way.

I said well that's what I need to talk to him about. Finally she put me on hold. Honestly based on her attitude and her talking down to me I figured she's leave me on hold and not get him but she did. Finally, I spoke to Gary. I said I had called about something simple. It escalated to this whole mess. He tried to recover and said he would talk to her but was dismissive about the situation. I told him I'd call the call center. At that point, I don't want to deal with anyone who hired that manager and thought that was a good idea.

Worst experience ever! I instead went to a brokerage firm and they were able to help get me quoted. I am cancelling my all state policy because they don't care about their customers.

Do better Leslie. The customers are what make your paycheck possible.

Lesley has been & continues great at her job. Any time I’ve a question she has been able to assist me not only do she explain policies to you but she goes into details & make sure all your question have been answered, I can say she truly cares about her clients. Not only did she assist me wonderfully but she definitely helped me save money !
