Steven Borenstein is the best public adjuster on Long Island. I was referred to him by a close family friend after my house fire. I was devasted and lost in the process dealing my insurance company. However, when I contacted Steven, he was so pleased and fast to assist me with my insurance claims and made sure that my family and myself were in a safe place. Steven
is always available when you need him. He walked me through the difficult process from getting my claim approved, from getting the most that I can possibly get to have my house repaired. STEVEN was able to get me and my whole family in a hotel as soon as possible and then to a house rental which was more comfortable and convenient for my family. Whenever you need him, he is always ready to help and assist you as well as making you feel calm. He is very professional, attentive and courteous. If you ever need a public adjuster, he is the right person to go.

If you're looking for the best when it comes to an independent public adjuster look no further than Steve Borenstein. He is the type of guy that you need to have in your corner when you have a home insurance claim handled Properly! My house recently suffered smoke damage due to a fire from an attached house next to mine.. I was totally lost and didn't know what to do. In the past I dealt with my insurance company by myself (during hurricane Sandy) and they totally dropped the ball on me and I vowed that the next time I'd have it independent adjusted work for me. Luckily for me Steve was recommended to me by a close friend and let me tell you that was the wisest choice that I've ever made! Not only did he help with getting my family into an hotel room, (the day of the fire) but he was on my insurance's butt every single day and kept me updated as to what was going on. He also fought to get me the best possible settlement and actually refused two offers that they originally gave. and only settled when he felt that it was the right amount. They don't make guys like Steve anymore. He is a true asset to the business and his clients. He treated me with the utmost respect and I always felt like I was family and for that I will always be grateful to him. And trust me if you use him, he won't let you down

I had a pipe burst in my home destroying my kitchen as well as my finished basement. When the insurance adjusters first came, they offered me a very small settlement. I was then referred to Steven and he worked wonders on my home. He was diligent, responsive and worked as hard as possible to get me the best settlement. Through this time of stress, Steven guided us and helped ensure that my family would get what we deserved. I would recommend him to anyone, he is the best independent insurance adjuster out there. I’ve been luck to have been recommended to meet with Steven Borenstein form a coworker that had used him earlier in the year. We are very glad he was available to help us out. He is very knowledgeable and has a lot of experience and I can’t thank him enough for doing the great job that he did with my moms house and the flood. Not being my house or knowing what to do, a coworker recommend Steven. We contacted him and we was on sight with in an hour. He reassured us that it will be ok and walked us though each step of the process to come. He took control of the situation and didn’t allow the insurance company to bully him around. Allstate can back with a really disappointing low ball number. Steven did what he does best, fought for more money. They came up a little bit but Steven was not yet content with the figure. He then hired an additional person to come in and justify having Allstate give even more funds towards the repairs. Steven is quit busy but always available and answers his phone day or night. I’ve tested that theory. :-). Like I stated before we are very lucky to meet Steven Borenstein and glad he was on our team leading the charge against the insurance company.

Just some of the things Steven Borenstein did for us:
-Hired drying company to dry out moms house
-Had rubbish removed to access walls
-Tested for and found asbestos in the basement. Handled the problem and corrected it.
-Fought for additional funds
-At job completion found us a little extra money from the insurance company.

Even though we used him for a flood incident, Steven is well versed in fire clams as well as storm damage. My coworker initially found him as a tree broke through the ceiling of his home. When faced with misfortune Steven is your guy, we were very lucky to be recommended to him.

Steve is a AMAZING public adjuster who worked diligently with me and my wife to make sure that we was able to get the money need to fix our home which caught fire in June. He is attentive and explains everything that is going on with our claim. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND him to anyone and use him again if I had too!!!
