I highly recommend IHC public adjusters. We had an insurance claim for hail damage to our roof and siding. Our insurance company came out and said they would pay for 1/2 of the roof and 1/2 of the siding. The insurance guy actually told us that should be enough money to get the job done. It was not! We got 4 quotes and all of them were significantly higher in price than the insurance company was paying. We hired IHC and they sent out two of their public adjusters, John and Tobias. They basically took over from there and got the insurance company to pay for the whole job. We were so impressed that we decided to use their contracting services to do the work. Everything turned out great. We are extremely happy with the results.

After a pretty major hail storm hit our area we were bombarded by telemarketers and contractors knocking on our door. Everyone was telling us that our house had severe hail damage. Literally it was ridiculous. At one point it was 4 or 5 calls a day and at least 5 guys knocking on our door, all day, every day for weeks.

Being naive of the process, I thought I would just call my insurance company and they would come out and take care of me. I am not too proud to admit I was wrong.

The first time the insurance company came out I wasn't even at home. They just decided to drop by and inspect my property without me knowing. They told me there was no hail damage on the roof and the marks that were literally clear as day, were from nails popping through the shingle probably due to faulty installation. I was pretty upset that they came out without me being home, so I insisted the adjuster come back when I was home to explain what he was seeing.

The second visit did not go well. I ended up in an argument with the guy. He kept just repeating the same thing, this is not hail damage so we are not paying for it. Meanwhile, all of my neighbors were getting new roofs from hail damage paid by their insurance companies!!

I really didn't know what to do. My agent insisted that their adjusters were trained in this sort of thing. I did some research and found out there are public adjusters that worked for the homeowner.

I found IHC online and had them come out. They sent two public adjusters out to look at my house. They both agreed it was definitely hail damage and that they had dealt with this particular insurance company and this particular insurance adjuster before.

They ended up taking the case and after I signed a contract they took over. I'm actually not sure what they did after that. I know there was at least 2 meetings at my house with the insurance company.

About a month later I got a call from IHC and they told me they had some bad news and some good news. The bad news was that the insurance company was only going to pay for 8 of my windows instead of all of them. The good news was that they were paying for my roof, gutters, siding, power wash and paint my fence and rear deck, and 8 windows. I was floored. I would have been happy with just the roof being replaced. I had no idea the other stuff was even damaged. My insurance company ended up paying $48,231.87 to basically re-do the whole outside of my house.

These guys are amazing and obviously really know what they are doing. I will never make an insurance claim without using a public adjuster again and I highly recommend this company.

Our insurance company initially denied us on a roof replacement. Toby stepped in and got the job done and insurance agreed with Toby and he got us a new roof! The staff that replaced our roof was fast, clean, and efficient. They came in and got the job done!
