I have worked for Alacrity for 3 years. The company as a whole is very good. As all companies go, there are issues that it deals with, but they do try to correct them as best as I feel they can. The management is learning as much as any other company how to train and how to get people to stand on their own. Some people feel they need more hand holding and when they are pushed into the actual job sooner than they feel they are ready, they blame the management and lack of training.
I have enjoyed working here and continue to see improvements in the company.

I am incredibly disappointed. Filed an insurance claim on 1/23/25, for my apartment being flooded due to a pipe burst. I got a call from them the next day regarding the next steps in the claim, I submit my photos and receipts by 1/25/25, I don’t hear from my insurance adjuster until a week later. At this point I was never given a list or offered to stay at hotels since my bed was damaged in the flood, and I had no where to sleep. I don’t hear back until 2/04/25 and I am told they just started processing my receipts. I am left in the dark again until I call the number listed and tell the operator that I have been waiting to receive a call after being promised I would receive one the next day, which I never did. On 2/08/25 they STILL tell me that they are still processing my items that were damaged. ONCE MORE I am continuously left in the dark UNTIL 2/12/25 and that’s when I’m finally told that my checks will be coming in the mail 10-14 days from now. I have called my insurance adjuster a few days ago and he has not returned my calls. I have been without a bed for over a month SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR and I am furious, I have no idea if my checks were even processed to be mailed out, but please STEER AWAY from these people. Absolutely ZERO communication, and ZERO consideration for the people who have to go through accidents that force them to have their cases handled by these people. Unbelievable.

Alacrity was used a year ago for a home water repair, was paid by my insurance company, and then sent an email bill over a year later that went to my spam box. I didn't see it but found it once it went to collections. Luckily that email didn't go to my spam box and when I called, they stated that "I signed a contract and need to complete the payment." After trying to work out the details with my insurance company regarding the difference, Alacrity sent it to collections even though it was only a couple of months post receiving it AFTER a year later. This company is shady and I highly recommend that you avoid them based on their billing procedures alone.

Alacrity was used as a third party adjuster for an insurance claim from a garbage truck running into my parked vehicle. This company is a joke. They totaled my vehicle and then I wasn’t even offered enough money to repair my vehicle, let alone replace it. They are in the back pockets of multi million dollar companies and law firms and have no interest in being fair. They only have low ball offers and refuse to look at comparibles as solid proof that their offers are an insult and a joke. They gave me excuse after excuse of the compatible vehicles I sent them, they weren’t the exact year (even though the model had a four year run and there weren’t any that exact year for sale), they weren’t the same trim, they weren’t the same color, that’s only asking price not actual sale price. If you have to deal with these crooks, immediately ask for another adjuster or seek your own. I don’t know if they pull people off the street to do their adjustments or they just have sub par educations. I only gave 1 star because negatives are not an option. Run far away from these people. If you’re dumb enough to have been paying these people, stop and find a more reputable company. Alacrity is pure garbage.

My advice. Read your binders coverages and make sure you completely understand how your valuables and covered under your policy. Also understand how property damages are covered. This company uses a 3rd party carrier to handle your claims and I give them a failing grade. Not a good company for renters insurance.

Reporting this company to the DOI, they are a rip off they use MS,. Alacrity, and E-premium ALL these companies used for Renters Insurance. DO NOT BUY THEIR POLICIES

We went with Century National for a rental policy they use a subsidiary contractor called alacrity. Those people are the ones that deal with the claims. We lost our home in the fire in the Palisades and we were awarded a good sum of money from our policy. However an accident happened where they put the wrong name on the check and we asked them to please correct it and they refused and told me there was nothing they were able to do so I wouldn't be able to cash my check basically ever because the name didn't match correctly my husband's real correct name. So therefore they were trying to weasel their way out of not paying us claiming it was a policy that they never reissue a check no matter what even if it's wrong. Fortunately I was able to deal with the bank and handled this but it's a quite a bit of leg work. I will say they're the shadiest company ever and I do not recommend using them because they will try anything to keep your money when I told him I would take him to court she said we will win and I said why would you just give us the correct check and I don't believe you would win it all I said a judge would just say reissue the check with the correct spelling and name and they said that they would win and I thought what a heartless person to talk to me that way after I lost everything and to not even care for this money would do so much good for us and that we weren't able to access it I can't tell you enough how disturbing this company is and do not use it no matter what.

As a loyal consumer who has paid monthly premiums to this company for over ten years, I am appalled by how my recent claim was handled from Alacrity.

My car was broken into and almost stolen, resulting in significant damage to my vehicle, that cost me thousands to repair. Despite providing all necessary documentation, including a police report and proof of the stolen property, my claim was denied. To make matters worse, I was offered only $1,000, a fraction of the actual repair cost, and my claim was still rejected.

I worked closely with Martha France, who failed to obtain the police report and mishandled the case. When I escalated the matter to her supervisor, Preston Valois, his response was equally disappointing. Rather than addressing the issue, he appeared to encourage further denial of my claim and failed to correct the errors made by Martha. She's rude and simply horrible with communication.

The fact that I had to deal with such incompetence and dishonesty is deeply troubling. Instead of being treated as a valued customer, I am left feeling robbed and ignored.

Furthermore, I am extremely disturbed by the fact that your company has attempted to intimidate me by involving attorneys over a claim for only $1,000. This behavior is appalling and not how a reputable company should conduct business.

I have already reached out to Vice President Lee Boyd and Director Scott Wallace regarding this issue, but I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. I have over 1 million followers on social media, and I will not hesitate to share my experience to inform others about the poor service, dishonesty, and unethical practices at Alacrity Solutions. Run, do not get insurance from this fraud company!

What a useless company. UPS took his Dolly over my stairs onto my front porch as he was talking on an earpiece and was distracted. As he turned the dollar around the load fell off causing 180 lb to refrigerator to fall onto my door seal of my fiberglass Therma-Tru door it has side lights and I had a bid for 15,000 as it has to all be replaced. The insurance company says oh we can just put a new door jamb and even though every single bit I have and every single warning online says you can't just simply replace the silll plate on that unit I explained it I provided them with documentation and they said someone can fix it for $1,000 and that includes removing all the stone work around the door removing the entire door and side lights... Yeah right it's like you get a minor accident in your car these days and it costs at least three grand to fix it. Terrible company terrible terrible terrible I have Ring footage that I'm going to share with the world, idiots

If I could give 0 stars I would. They're based in the states, do not answer questions, and also have so many different people with different titles that are in various time zones so they're hard to reach... I wouldn't be surprised if this is a scam of some sort. I tried it through my koho account and hated it. They fall under a different name in my app, I guess it's because their name already has a horrible reputation so they have to hide. Canceled and never again will I do business with them. Very risky and terrible service.
