I've been at North Star for almost a year now and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here! I had never been in sales before, had no knowledge or training and they hired me and gave great introductory training. We have training every day and it is honestly super helpful. The folks here clearly want me to succeed, which makes sense because everything is based on commission. So when I make money, so do they. I feel very supported by my Business Advisor and the higher-ups are friendly and supportive as well. This is a good family environment, one to have a career at. The culture is positive and not at all cut-throat, and I have never once felt disrespected or unappreciated. Their hands-off approach is interesting because I am not an employee and therefore there are very few expectations for me, I work when I want to work. And when I do work, it is very easy to make money. I'm making more money than I ever have, and I am confident that every month I am here I will keep making more. This job is not for everyone and it does require self-motivation and a desire to improve. The culture here is improvement centered. You won't get in trouble if you are not trying to get better, but it's a huge point that is covered every day. I would highly recommend working here. As long as you have a self-improvement mindset and are willing to take advice, you will thrive here.

I have been working with North Star for a little over 4 years. So far I have had a great experience as an independent agent. They have offered a lot of support and training as well as the hands on approach that I need at times. I think the biggest plus is that I get to work from home.

They hired me when I was a stay at home mom. I looked for a year for a job and no one would hire me. This company took a chance on me. The training was amazing, as well as the trainers. I felt very well trained unlike other jobs. They practice their core values. The management is great. If you work hard and put in the effort, you will do okay. They pay amazing so they expect results. If you’re looking for a job to mess around at, this is not the place for you. Over all in love with the company. Always wanted to make good money and have a work life balance. They truly care about their employees. The turn over rate is high because some people just aren’t cut out for sales or are too young to realize it doesn’t get much better than this. Overall best job I ever had. I’m happy coming in to work and leaving. They truly care about the people they sell to

Northstar has given me a very warm welcome. They are willing to reward employees who are there for the right reasons- helping others. If you are a hard working sales professional, you will make good money here and receive mentorship. Sales is a tough job and not everyone is meant for it. With that being said, if you LOVE sales, Northstar is the perfect place to stand out and make a lot of money. If you are someone who isn't seeking self development and you aren't actively pursuing growth- you might be dissapointed because expectations are high, as they should be. I came in and worked very hard and they very quickly showed their appreciation for me. God has blessed me by leading me to Northstar. I am proud of the product we provide and can feel good about my impact everyday when I clock out. My leaders are wonderful. My co-workers are amazing. I am so proud of the progress I have seen in myself and those around me while being here. I will be with Northstar for years to come and I am so grateful for the opportunity they have provided me.

I worked at North Star for 8 months and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The management, particularly the brothers who run the company, seemed more focused on maximizing profits than on the well-being of their employees or the integrity of their business practices. There were numerous instances where promises made to employees were not kept, and transparency was severely lacking. I would not recommend working here if you're looking for a supportive and honest work environment.

Even if you have some of the best numbers in training.
If they don't like you, you're gone if you're not smiling 24 hours a day. You're gone would never recommend to anyone In my experience there, they don't even want to speak to you unless they're firing you
