Don’t ever get insurance through this company. Once it’s time to get your money that you paid into your policy they give you the run around. Your told 7-10 business days and then 7-10 more business days. People sitting around not doing their job and not being held accountable for not doing it. I’m waiting for Lynn Kohler to sign the approval for my check 7-10 business days have been here and gone.Im surprised they haven’t given me the COVID excuse yet. Give my money please and thank you.

They are not good insurance company because no one answer question they should know. My family has not received their beneficiary check, 5,000 dollars when asked we told sent to funeral home although they were NOT beneficiary. My family member died in September, now December no check and now they can't see policy number of beneficiary in the computer. I am tired of unprofessional behavior I most certainly will get me an attorney yes for 5,000 because I will be suing for more than 5,000.

I got this insurance from united back in 1990 kemper is a rip off I hate the took over! Don't use them for home or car u won't get your value . Even when you surrender don't matter u won't get your worth. They take like they gave you money! Read well and know. Hope this helps

My check was stolen from either my agent or inside. They were slow in cash surrender it took 3 months to receive and customer service wasn't accurate or knowledgeable about most anything concerning my 14yr insurance policy. Had to contact inspector General office and corporate just to get things resolved and still ongoing today.

The most unprofessional company I’ve ever delt with I do not recommend anybody doing business with them they are super janky I wish I could give 0 stars Ms Tillman is a old horrible adjuster by the way she talks over u and act like she is paying u out of her pocket I had all proof of my house burglary and I did not get paid for my stolen items I left several messages for her and her boss no response don’t do business with them

I have been put through the ringer trying to get my money. This company caused me to loose coverage by not paying my premium automatically deducted. So I surrender the policy and still haven't received the money. Several phone calls and still lies. Now I have an affidavit to do in order to get my money when all the time lies were told it was sent and you know it wasn't. Your affidavit will be faxed back to you what excuse you will give me now?

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY EVER!! They don't even rate. I'm continuing to try to assist my elderly 80+ year old parents to get their "Cash Surrender" for their PAID IN FULL policy. Which they need for healthcare. It has been an absolute nightmare. We have been working on this for over 2 months at least. They have mailed, faxed and emailed ALL documents and ID required. Along with visited their DALLAS facility. Then I took the process over and have made several attempts to complete this and get my parents the money they are OWED that they are ENTITLED to, to no avail. I've sat on the phone now numerous times trying to get someone on the line at their customer service facility out of St. Louis. No answer. No response to email. NOTHING. How disgusting to take advantage of good paying, ELDERLY people. I will escalate this to the BBB immediately, and as far as I can go. I'm so upset and appalled at a company that would treat good paying, hard working, elderly people like this.

If I could put zero stars, I would! My mother had a policy for quite some time and she passed away in April, it’s now August. The “claims department” keeps beating around the bush Everytime I call. Everytime I call, they tell me something different! If you want your family to not struggle after paying the funeral costs if/when you pass, DONT CHOOSE KEMPER!
