Zack had been my advisor for several years. He took over and existing policy I had when I moved here. Over the years he sold me several policies. I was paying more money to NW Mutual than I thought I should be. Due to this I decided to hire an outside consultant to help me manage into retirement. After their review, I realized that most of what I was paying over the last few years was commissions and my whole life policies were not very valuable to me. I sent Zack two e-mails asking that three policies be surrendered and I did not get a response to either of them. I set up a time to meet with him but it didn't happen due to my own inability to find time. I called him and left messages on both phones that I wanted to surrender the policies and he messaged me that he would call back which did not happen. I call NW Mutual and asked that my account be handled elsewhere. At that point I got some response. Zack has never called.

The policies are still not cancelled. I am waiting for a form from NW Mutual to complete the process. I'm still trying to get those surrendered. I still have two policies with NW Mutual.

Get a second opinion. Zack has his own wallet at the top of his agenda.
