We dropped off salmon when we arrived in Homer. Plus they picked up halibut, cod and ling cod that we caught on a charter a couple of days later. We asked them t0 hold the fish for a week as our fishing was at the start of our trip. Communications was great. All fish arrived at our home in MD frozen solid and clearly labeled. Definitely recommend!

Great fish chowder and fresh bread. Snow crab dip was super tasty. Brandy was an awesome server and shucker. We had 10 oysters. Highly recommend the Coal Point Trading Co.

I used Coal Point after my recent fishing trip. Service was great. I called the office from the boat, an employee was at the dock waiting for my arrival. He asked for my information and how I wanted the fish processed. The next morning my fish was ready for pick up. Vacuum sealed and flash frozen. Staff was friendly and prices seemed reasonable. I recommend this processor. I caught 48 lbs of fish and received back 30 lbs processed. And yes, I got my halibut cheeks. 😆

I had a super nice experience with the people at Coal Point. I went fishing with Captain Greg's Fishing charters whom I highly recommend as well. Coal point picked our fish up after the charter and had it processed and ready for pick up in 26 hours. They are amazing and deliver a superior product. Their customer service is top notch. The young man who picked our fish up from the dock carried it to my car. With a smile! They are awesome will get ALL of my business every year going forward. I highly recommend them. 10 stars!!!!

Inside one of the local fish processing places is a quiet informal counter that serves some of The best food in Homer. Best bets are the seafood fish chowder or the rice bowls with baked salmon or fried halibut. Also try the steamed crab. They also have great homemade breakfast sandwiches. Everything is more reasonable than other local restaurants. Best for breakfast or lunch. They tend to close early because they run out of food

Disappointed how our hard worked king salmon was processed. The steaks are covered in blood which should had been washed off before vacuum sealing. The steak cut king salmons they sell does not look like that so I don’t understand what’s the big deal on washing off the blood before vacuum sealing it. Does the customer really have to say “can you make sure you wash off the blood before vacuum sealing it?” - any fish processor should know that.

Midnight Mike did a great job packing our salmon and halibut in fish boxes and coolers. We live in Corpus Christi, Texas and when we arrived home all of the fish was still frozen solid. We appreciate Mike’s great attitude, friendliness and caring when packing the fish.

Amazing seafood. We stopped in and bought two pounds of crab and some shrimp. Randi steamed it for us and we sat there and ate. It was the best seafood we have had since we’ve been in Alaska! The price is unbeatable when compared to the local restaurants that charge you $110 for one leg, when I paid $118 for over 2.5 pounds. Definitely worth the visit if you want amazing crabs and shrimp at a great price.
