Had a wonderful session with David Hakes. He was on time, worked very quickly through my paperwork and completed our visit in less than an hour. Recently experienced pure incompetence. My email for starters was entered improperly which resulted in not being informed of anything with tax time approaching. When I called to find out why I never received any information and why I had received threatening bills, I was repremanded for having been on the phone with their receptionist in an effort, approaching the height of tax time, to find out why I had no information, no appointment and nothing. I was consequently told I was not welcome at their firm. I was referred by my lawyer to address a specific situation with a specific associate. Customer service was non-existent.

I used to just file my own taxes until my husband starting making income in another state. Last year was the first year we used Fox Peterson and Nathan was great! Fast forward to this year when I procrastinated way too long to give them my documents - I called on the Friday before the tax deadline in a panic only to learn that they had already filed an extension on our behalf! I was not concerned, I had attended the meet and greet by the staff for clients at the Gilbert Aquatic center and I knew the future was bright with so many wonderful people. I found Fox Peterson through Dave Ramsey recommendations 7 years ago. David Hakes, has been my trusted tax accountant ever since. I also took a great lady in her mid 90’s to David a few years ago and he earned her trust immensely. David, puts up with my old school tax collection of numbers and receipts not using their handy i’m sure ,online method, and never complains. Even now after moving to Washington state 1 1/2 years ago he has helped me maneuver some complicated financial issues. He deserves all 5 or 10 gold stars really 👏 Thank you David for being a great accountant, advisor and friend.
