My family had a house fire that caused us to be out of our house for a full year while it was being rebuilt, and just about all of our belongings were ruined due to the fire / smoke damage. One of the firefighters told me to hire a public adjuster, and he recommended Rich Perez. This was the best decision I made. I don't know how we would have gotten through this horrific time without his help. He guided us through the entire process with insurance and handled all correspondence on our behalf. I have hired Bruno D'Avella on 3 separate occasion for both my primary home and my home at the beach. Each time he did not disappoint! Within an hour of my claims, he took care of getting a mitigation company to come in and take care of all the molded sheetrock, the disinfecting of the walls and removing all destroyed carpeting. Filing a claim is no simple process. We were lucky to find someone like Rich who knows all the inns and outs of filing a claim.
Today the construction part of the claim is complete. Fully paid for. Needless to say it is absolutely beautiful. Rich made sure that all the fire and smoke damages were addressed.
The contents part of the claim is in process and I am confident that the final proceeds will cover all our loses.

We were left in a haze of shock, fear and uncertainty when our home burned down on a Friday in March 2020. An acquaintance referred us to Ralph at NJPA. We signed with him the Monday morning after the fire. It was like the weight of the world was completely removed from our shoulders and hearts. Ralph and his assistant Aida have gone above and beyond every step of the way— from booking our hotel the first weekend to securing immediate transition into an apartment to negotiating the settlement with our insurance company. Don’t know where we would be right now without them— possibly divorced and homeless. Yes they take a percentage of total insurance settlement but it is a small fraction and no one is in any condition mentally or emotionally to lobby and negotiate on behalf of themselves after a devastating life event.
