Misleading and Unprofessional Adjuster Experience

My experience with Western Affiliated Adjustment Company (previously known as Desert Valley Adjustment Co) was extremely disappointing. We had significant roof damage caused by a storm in July 2024, and their general adjuster, Tim Mason, was sent to assess the damage.

Despite the obvious storm damage, Tim Mason falsely attributed the roof issues to "foot traffic" and "wear and tear"—without performing a thorough inspection or providing any written or photographic documentation. What’s worse, Tim refused to give his full contact details and would only communicate over the phone, making it impossible to properly document our interactions.

Despite the fact that no one has accessed the roof in over 13 years, and 13 other buildings in our complex have similar or worse roof damage. This company's lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable.

If you’re dealing with Western Affiliated Adjustment Company or Desert Valley Adjustment Co, beware of their misleading assessments and refusal to communicate professionally. I would highly recommend seeking an independent adjuster for any damage claims—they are not a company you can trust to act in good faith.
