Zero stars, been insured for years my bill lapsed one time and they want $500 to reissue. I would not recommend they only want money they do not want loyalty or good drivers

Kaitlyn D was magnificent!! She walked me through all of my questions! She knew the answers and sent me pictures. Most of all I appreciated her making me feel valued and gave me wonderful options to think through what is best for me!! I rarely get this customer service and have been at her end of the phone. This company is the worst. My wife was hit by one of their policy holders. Going on a month not next to no comuication. 12 days ago I emailled the police report showing their client at fault. Never can get a hold of Lisa Hampton or her boss Mitch. Its really sad that now I am forced to sue there policy holder. My number is CAZ0065717. Please dont reply to this review just call me.

My wife was hit in a car accident, and the other guy was at fault and a police report was filed.
We tried to make a claim on their insurance, and I couldn’t get a hold of anyone or do anything. I had to make a claim on my own insurance to go after them, and they still haven’t made a response. I tried calling and leaving a message with supervisors, and these people owe me about 1500 bucks.

Beware of signing an insurance policy with Commonwealth insurance. This is the most dishonest insurance company and I don't understand how they are getting away with selling any insurance policies. Our awning was damaged in a microburst monsoon storm in The first week of September and Commonwealth has not honored their policy in any area, and its been 3 months. They called me today and offered to pay less than half of what it will cost for the awning replacement. Per my policy they are obligated to pay $100% of the replacement cost. I have reported their negligence and dishonest actions to the BBB. Please note that their responses to complaints are anything but the truth.

I have reviewed Commonwealth before and now I am doing it again because once again, Commonwealth literally does not care about you - whether you're their insured or the other driver opposite to one of their insured, I can assure they will not help you at all.
I keep seeing reviews saying this is the cheapest insurance they have found...I promise you, that's for a REASON. Its bad, like, very bad. RUN if you haven't already and go to literally any other insurance company, aside from Commonwealth. Happy that my policy is finally canceled with them, as both claim experiences I have had with them, as their insured, has been nothing short of a nightmare each time.

Commonwealth is NOT the best insurance ever and they are NOT the cheapest! I had insurance with them for about a year. I purchased a new car requiring full coverage and my $77.00 payment went to over $200.00. I found a cheaper deal with State Farm for $161.00. I purchased my car and insurance on 7/10. Their agent knew this and was suppose to cancel my policy, but didn't. On 7/28, another payment was taken from my account. On 7/29, I called requesting a refund. After having to send them several documents proving that I purchased a new car and other insurance, my refund was approved and back dated to 7/10. I was TOLD the money would be returned to my account within 7 to 10 business days. I called on 8/9 because I still didn't have my refund. I was TOLD that the money had been returned to me and that my bank probably put a hold on it. I called my bank and found that COMMONWEALTH LIED TO ME. I called Commonwealth again. This time, I was TOLD that my refund would for sure be in my account the next day. My refund did NOT show up on 8/10, as promised. I call again. Now I am TOLD that because my refund is more than my payment, it was mailed to me and to wait 7 to 10 MORE BUSINESS DAYS. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE _*** KIDDING ME!!! After all the lies and inconsistencies, I asked to speak to a Supervisor. I was TOLD that one was NOT available, but someone would call me back. I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN CALLED BACK AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND!!!
