Without Ed I have no idea what we would have done. Our insurance kept telling us that claim was not covered but ended up covering everything. Ed was helpful in every way from beginning to end. He got us everything we needed and some.

Trying to communicate with the insurance adjusters is not easy at all. After hiring, Ed, he did all the communication and got the answers way faster than I would have myself. and was not greedy, but was working to get money in our pockets.

If you are looking for a public adjuster, look no further, and I mean this! He is very honest, helpful, upfront, and no BS guy. He is not one to not answer your calls or text messages, emails, etc. I would recommend Ed to anyone looking for a public adjuster.

We worked with Nico after water damaged in our kitchen… the insurance company offered us pennies to repair and replace cabinets and flooring. There was no way we could have gotten through the excruciating process without Nico. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, communicated effectively and quickly, and got everything we needed to fix and repair our home properly. This guy is a scam.
My house had significant water damage and I had a water mitigation company come and mitigate the damages.
I hired a professional clean up company.

After the mitigation was complete the insurance company was not on our side. After weeks of dealing with the insurance company and getting nowhere, we had to hire a public adjuster. We hired Ed and his company Up Front settlements to assist us with the insurance company.
We thought this was the right choice.

The mitigation company finished the job. Sketched and wrote an estimate. Submitted to the insurance company. We settled with the insurance company with the mitigation.

Here comes Ed and his scam.
Ed met the adjuster on site. Ed and the adjuster got into an argument. We heard and saw everything on our ring system. Ed verbally abused the adjuster and allegedly put his hands on her. She filed a police report.
Ed put a repair estimate together that we did not approve. Insurance company paid out based on the repairs.
The repairs cost $30,000 more than what was approved.

Ed charged his fee on the mitigation estimate. Remind you he did nothing to earn his fee on that.
Ed also charged a fee on the pack out. Again he had no involvement.
Ed charged his fee for settling for 30,000 less.
I had no choice to pay Ed because the checks went to him direct. He took his $25,000 fee out and handed the rest off to us.
Ed maybe spent a dozen hours at the house and did nothing.
He would have his wife call us and do his dirty work and explain why we would not get any more money.
Unfortunately the contractor who did the repairs knew Ed and they also said the same thing that I went through.
I would give him zero stars if I could. Please do not hire this guy. Con artist.

Ed was able to help me recover all the money I needed for a water damage claim to pay contractors to fix the water damage. The insurace company was only going to pay about 20% of what was needed and was pressuring us to settle. I did not have the time or energy to fight their delaying and stonewalling tactics. At this point I hired Upfront Settlements which removed this stressful situation from me by handling all contact with the insurance company. It took a while but we were able to get a full settlement. I highly recommend their service if you are not getting a proper settlement for your claim.

Up Front Settlements is the one & ONLY company I’ll ever use when in need of a public adjuster! If you have any insurance claim my personal opinion is to call Ed first! Ed is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his field! Ed makes you feel like family & you can completely trust Ed. Ed will spend all the time you may need to make sure you fully understand the process. I’m thankful that I found Ed, because he helped me tremendously through my process. My claim wouldn’t have turned out successfully without the assistance of Up Front Settlements!
