I needed a new debit card. They needed me to call a number to get my old card unblocked but when I went to my car to make the call, they told me they couldn't verify my phone number and I would have to go in person. When I asked her why they told me I had to call the number she said "honestly it's a big circle and this happens alot"
We will be changing banks.

Blonde manager is rude and never return customers calls!! ATMS are never working always broken or can’t take a check deposit or cash deposit and one branch has 3 atms and all 3 most of the time are out of order. For 3 weeks been calling the blonde manager to talk to her about the issue she never returns the call. Absolutely rude and incompetent and inconsiderate of clients concerns and complaints. She has to dig deep and do a big process improvement in the branch.

This is the worst bank I've ever banked at. I opened an account here and couldn't use it because I couldn't access my account or routing number. Then I tried to use my ATM card to withdraw my money so I could close the account, but the PIN number didn't work. When I called them, they said they couldn't send me a check to close the account but could give me a new PIN number. But they couldn't do that either. In other words, they've stolen my money! Unbelievable!!

The manager Blair at the Hyannis Massachusetts rotary branch drilled into my safe deposit box and forwarded my items to a Boston branch(box payments were current) without any notification. When I finally received my items back they were given to me in a plastic bag. When I notified their security department that half of my items were missing they did an ā€œinvestigation.ā€ My items were never located and I was informed that the investigation was close and unless I could provide more information that’s all they could do. I’ll never ever do business with citizens bank ever again. They actually stole from me thinking that I had moved out of state.

Three stars because the teller really said with a genuine smile that the company policy is not to change money.
I’m sorry. What’s a bank for again? Verification of funds, savings, changing money, safekeeping, etc. Not just making money off people. Or maybe that is the goal of this bank?
You must have an account before they will change money. $100 bill to smaller bills. Quarters to bills. Change bills to quarters. Isn’t that what we trust banks to do? 7-11 can’t make change because their drawer doesn’t hold that much money. I get that. Banks hold all your money, but you have to be a member to use it at all. I thought the name was citizens’ bank? Not fraternal order of the dollar. Change your policy and you might get more business. But wait, you don’t want business that doesn’t charge a fee or make a profit! Oooops
