Incompetent firm. Unable to adjust a basic claim. Constantly asking for documents they already have. Delay tactics. Would never insure with them again. I cannot imagine their renewal uptake is high with people who have had to make a claim.

Their old location is 'permanently closed' so all their old poor reviews can't be seen. Avoid these disgusting people like the plague. I ended up negotiating direct with my insurance company - that's how bad these people are.

Absolutely the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. Their customer service is a complete joke. They wrongly deducted excess from our pay out, as it had already been paid. The lady who was our "claim handler" spent most of the time (6 months) off sick meaning no one was able to gain access to our claim to send or receive reports and important info regarding our claim.
Everyone I spoke to about getting our pay out (needed urgently to pay contractors) said they would escalate the matter and mark it urgent and apologised for the delay.. weeks layer still nothing was done. This cycle went round about 9 times.
They never reply to emails, they never let you know if there is a problem unless you phone them and someone else tells you what they can, but don't have all the info because they aren't the claim handler and the normal lady is off sick AGAIN.
All the good reviews I've seen on here are from the people that work for the company... I'm yet to see an actual happy customers review..

Avoid like the plague. Absolutely atrocious service. If your insurance company uses these guys move insurance company! We claimed through them after getting quotes from private contractors 5 different contractors said the work would cost between £3k-£7k. Their assessor said the work would cost £500. They tried to strong arm me into accepting this as a settlement. When I asked them to complete the work through their contractor, if they could do it for £500…. 3 months later they keep saying they are waiting for costs to come through from their contractor, who is hiring a specialist (probably £500 just to make an assessment!). This company is fraudulent and I will be complaining about them to the Ombudsman.

These people sent a non-existent, defunct 'company' to assess storm damage.
That company claimed that they wouldn't do a survey as they were too busy.
When I submitted my invoice for the cost of the work, they were climbing up the side of my house and taking pictures hanging from the scaffolding on the roof, the very next day.
A report was then written stating that obvious storm damage was "deterioration of materials".
The matter will soon be going to court.

I am so disappointed. This group was tasked with finding a repair for the track pad of my laptop. I got the 'fixed' laptop back and there was more damage than it started with.

The screen now has significant bleeding on it. The case came back broken, and there are now scratches on the screen.

I received the laptop back after a month of waiting, to find all of this. I am now 2 months later WITHOUT ANY RESPONSE after chasing Claims consortium countless amounts of times. I am quite frankly fed up of this.

Avoid.

Very Slow in processing my 'Claim' from Legal and General - Very poor service, did not read any emails when I sent them emails about my claim. Had to chase them all the time. I will not be renewing my Home insurance policy with L&G if they deal with this unprofessional company.

After months of putting the claim into this company and chasing them - L&G complaints dept stepped in, amended my claim and paid out some of the amount that I disputed. L&G also paid out £250 compensation for this companies poor service - a credit for L&G for stepping in and also apologising, however no apology or explaination direct from Claims consortium.
