Before I give a review I just want to say I read a lot of reviews that were negative and I am appalled that AAA customer service Representatives or owner did not reply to rectified customers complaints. AAA I lost a lot of respect for you.
I must give a well deserved accolades to our tow truck driver and his name is DAVID!
Our incident on 8-6-24 of our truck breaking down at I-17 /Camelback ave in Phoenix Arizona they said it would take about an hour but when our driver realized that he would be running just about 10 minutes late he did us the courtesy of getting in touch with us.
When DAVID arrived he could see I was frazzled, he was very professional personable and put me at ease.
I am so blessed that I didn't have the negative experiences that other customers have had. I will call member services to verbally give DAVID the credit he deserves since AAA doesn't response to their customers.
DAVID I APPRECIATE YOU AND THE SERVICE YOU PROVIDED!

I am not sure this is the right place for an AAA call center review, but it was the closest I could find.

I didn't even have an emergency call. I am pricing out batteries. Also, being a AAA member, it makes more sense to me to buy a needed replacement from them was my thinking but I wasn't sure.

So I interrogated Mr. Alexander W (?). In the nicest way I can.

Bottom line, he was there for my call. No attitude. Only kindness and provided me the wealth of information I needed.

I will buy the battery through them which I know they sub out to their private parties. I am waiting for specific confirmation, but again, for me, it is not time sensitive. I just want it done by EOD tomorrow

Was told an hour for a tow in 100+ heat. I called after no driver showed after 90 minutes. When I called they told me sit tight. After waiting I called again and was told they cannot help me that I need to call the tow company. That they couldn’t help me. When I did the driver said he communicated to AAA it would be 3 more hours and didn’t know why they wouldn’t have told me that. Horrible customer service.

AAA employee was very good. Little shocked to see how corporate America AAA has become. Used to be one reasonable price covered everything. Spouse, trailers boats, etc. Now their more expensive, don't include your spouse & nickle & dime you to death, everything is an upgrade.

My whole family has been so disappointed in the customer service. The representatives that handle the initial calls are rude and impatient! If they're not trained in how to handle a customer's problem, why are they maned on the on the phones? I called today, the representative's name was David, with a problem with my car not starting and the agent was both short and impatient in handling the call. I don't expect a fix all result, but I do expect common courtesy, but there was none. Their service is not free, I would appreciate some level of politeness!!

Horrible company!!!
I'd wish there was a zero star option!!! I've been a member since 2009 with my wife on the account. Something on there end removed her from the account a month ago. Then we she called to use the service she was informed by the "customer service " rep that I removed her. When I called they tell me it was my payment that didn't go through so she was dropped but my account charge went through ? All I wanted to do was put her back on the account so she could use the service and they said she won't be able to for 48hrs. Worst customer service!!!!!

First review I ever made in my life, however this was so bad I do not want anyone to go thru this. Proud member since 2003, and haven’t used them for 15 years. Finally my car breaks down in the NE part of the state of AZ. Which honestly is the middle of no where. So I am excited that I am finally going to get my money worth!

Called in, and got transferred 4 times to find the right person to talk to. Then I got disconnected from them, like hung up on. It was a landline phone

Second I called in they put me on hold for 15 minutes, only to have me start back at the pickup line.

Third time I call in, I am relieved they have a tow truck coming! I am also a premiere member they will tow my car to Durango CO for free! What a day!!! Also the nice gentleman had a rental car lined up in Cortez CO!! Luckily I was able to talk a local resident to drive our family an hour to Cortez.

Getting close to Cortez I get this weird feeling in my stomach that something isn’t right. So we call the rental car place, and find out that they have been closed for 6 months. $H!t!!! Not open at all no cars, zilch. Luckily we got a hotel, and got my kids to bed.

Curious because it’s been about three hours and I haven’t heard anything from the tow driver. So I call back in, and I find out that they do not service that area! Apparently, AAA is not national and my car decided to break down in one of the few dead spots! I simple, you are on your own tonight would have sufficed.

So I call the tow driver in Cortez AZ, who says he work with triple AAA they will dispatch me and they pay him. However after about 6 calls with AAA they say that he is not in that service area, and will not pay them. He unfortunately is 9 miles out of the coverage acres for towing.

Hopefully they did say they will reimburse me, however quite terrified how that process may go. I will bring this review to 2 stars if I get reimbursed and update the review.

Overall thanks for the fun story I will get to tell my friends for the rest of my life!

Good morning everybody , My name is Maria an this is my horror story !!! My daughter works in Sedona she locked her keys and purse and phone in her car, she got in placed her things down, started the car and the car turned off on her, so she got out and checked the battery cables, when she came to get in her car she realized that she locked her self out, she called me from a restaurant, right above where she was parked. We have AAA and called them and tried to add her but they told us that they could not come or help for 48 hours, mind you she is a single mom and so we asked them what we needed to do? They told us in order to go to her ASAP we needed to pay for her own membership, Which my husband paid $140.00 and told us that that would alert my husband so that I can call the restaurant where my daughter was to keep up her updated as It was pouring and it was getting late. My husband then gets a call from the Towing company Jaws Towing and they told him they were on the way 20 to 30 mins, which made us so happy. That was not the case. We never heard from them again My husband and I called AAA 4 times and we kept getting the run around. I had to call the Sedona police to please go check on my daughter and break her window if need be.!!! what upsets me the most is that AAA took our money no problem and this Jaws Towing took the job knowing he had no on in town. per the Owner @ Jaws he said he told AAA off the back that he had no one but then why did you towing guy call us an tell us he was on the way my daughter did not get home until 12 am !!!! SOMETHING COULD HAVE HAPPEND TO HER!!! and the fact that you were all ok with letting her sit there and no call to us so that we could have drove ourselves there to get her is disgusting!!!! I filed a claim with AAA and told them to never use JAWS TOWING ever again no remorse no apologies disgusting !!!!!! 3 hours oh her waiting is unacceptable!!! AAA do better and stop working with Jaws towing in Sedona
