The bottom of the barrel of health insurance. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Anytime I have a claim processed incorrectly (which I am certain they do on purpose assuming their customers will just pay the medical bills and not question the mistake - and I've never once seen a mistake that benefits me!), I have to call and message multiple times and talk to people who have very little understanding of insurance in general, so no idea how they work for an insurance company, and their English is sketchy so I'm assuming it's people who live in a third world country and I'm sure they aren't getting any health insurance. Aetna will do anything to cut corners, confuse customers and give them the run around so they will be so tired of the lack of customer service that they'll just give up and pay what Aetna should pay.

THE WORST!! These people absolutely do not care about their customers and patients. They’ll do anything and everything in their power to deny medication and treatment. Really wish I could go with Blue Cross Blue Shield, but my employer offers Aetna. If you have another option, strongly consider it over Aetna. This company is terrible and they can get away with being awful because most people really have a choice on who to use for their health insurance provider. STAY AWAY FROM AETNA IF YOU CAN!!!!

They keep saying they will cover care with no out of pocket cost from us and then send us a bill anyway, when we contact support and tell them that we asked if it was covered prior and we were told yes they basically just tell us to get over it and pay the bills. I would rather have no coverage at all because id still be on my own but i wouldnt pay 150$ a month for that privilege.

Aetna is one of the best companies. If you're going to add bad review please explain why. My eye and dentist is around less then $5 a week, which gives me $2,500 a year to use at the dentist. I get huge discounts on Mri, Xray's doctor appointments, even bigger discounts with specialist.

Absolutely garbage.

Aetna continues to deny health care claims for the car crash we suffered almost a year ago. This despite providing them liable party and insurance exhaustion letter information.

My wife and daughter are in pain and need treatment.

Is this the way you treat human beings that pay you for service?

Avoid them at all costs because they will find a way to squirm out of paying. One person says one thing, then the next will say another. Zero accountability. They have no care for the individuals that they service.

We had Aetna through my husband’s previous employer. It was a terrible experience. We used providers in their network, and still got screwed over. We never thought with the amount we paid to have this insurance coverage, that it would not cover anything.

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They practice weaponized incompetence in order to make it harder on the patient and provider to get payment. Customer service (or lack there of) is painfully comical

0 stars. I work in healthcare and this is the worst company. They do not care about their patients. They transfer you to every other dept and will hang up on you. As a healthcare provider it is impossible to help patients with Aetna.
