Thomas Shelton is one of the most genuine and caring people I've ever met. My wife and I didn't know a single person in the state we just moved to, much less the town. We had just got a house and started looking for an insurance company and found Alfa. We spoke with a guy(Thomas) up at our local Alfa. He spoke with my wife and gave us a quote. She said he was super nice. We called a few other insurance agencies and decided we would call him back the following day. That night we took some people who were struggling with food to a place where they feed less fortunate people. We ran into a man serving food to everyone. He was very welcoming and I noticed he had an Alfa shirt on. I sat down with my wife and said to her "I wonder if that's the guy you talked to". We both agreed that it would be crazy but later i talked to him and asked. Sure enough it was. That's how we met. I went ahead and told him we were new to the area and we had decided to use Alfa. After that we became good friends. He always called and updated me on my policies and suggested( Not pushing) making a change here or there to better benefit my family. Once you get to know him you'll know he's always going to tell you what's best (even if it doesn't benefit him). He's showed up to my house and with his own equipment cut trees that have fallen without even being asked. I think highly of this man and anyone who ever meets him feels the same. I know this review may seem long but this doesn't even scratch the surface on the good this man has done.

Thomas was my agent when he was in Arab. He knew our family and our needs. We purchased a farm and quoted our homeowners thinking he couldn’t touch who we had for the last 15 years. Not only did he beat them, but increased our coverages and saved us nearly $1800 a year on home and auto.

Knowing us and that some things had changed in our life he suggested some changes to our policy to once again save us more money.

Our biggest fear was “what happens if we have a claim?”. Well we had a no fault claim that totaled our car out. They took care of us quickly at the local office and followed up the whole way thru.
