I was involved in an accident that wasn't my fault and was skeptical that working with the other driver's insurance company would go smoothly. Was I ever wrong about that! Within days of the accident I received a call from Adjuster Benjamin from Auto-Owners Insurance. He was polite and very professional and said right off that this accident was not my fault and that Auto-Owners Insurance would take care of all the damage to my car and provide me with a rental vehicle while mine was in the shop! He said he would send a packet of information to my email address which would include a camera enhancer for my iPhone so I could take pictures of the damage to my car which would be assessed by their estimators to determine the cost of repairs. My first thought was that they would send me a check based on their estimate and I would have to pay any difference if the shop charged more than the Auto-Owners assessed amount for the repair. I called Benjamin to talk about my concerns and he was very professional and understanding. He assured me that if the shop determined my car needed additional repairs, not seen by their estimator in the photographs I sent, that Auto-Owners Insurance would pay that amount directly to the shop. Again, I was a bit skeptical but that is exactly what happened! When the check for their damage appraisal didn't arrive at my house in a reasonable amount of time I called Benjamin and he said he would send another check right away. In fact, every time I called Benjamin, he answered the phone (except for once and he called me right back) and he was always very professional, understanding and kind. He also sent me email messages if he wasn't going to be in the office on certain days and left me an alternative number so I could talk to someone else. No one wants to be in an accident and when it happens we all wonder if we'll receive good service from the insurance company(s) involved. Auto-Owners Insurance and their adjuster Benjamin provided me with exceptional service every step of the way and they made this unfortunate situation go much smoother than I ever expected! Thank you Auto-Owners Insurance and Benjamin for all you did for me!

My experience with Jack Vea from Auto Owner's Insurance was as good as one could hope for considering the difficult circumstances. He was ready to answer questions whenever it was necessary, and he showed sincere concern with my situation. He did all he could to make things as right as possible and his communication was always friendly. Everything was handled as quickly as possible and to my satisfaction. This is all especially good when you consider he is not my insurance man. It was someone that was insured through this company that ran into my car. Working with him was a positive experience. If I hadn't been with the insurance company that I've used for so many years, I would consider switching to the one he works for.

I received hand-held care and guidance when dealing with a recent rear end collision. I had to make the claim through my insurance as I was having a knee replacement surgery and so Jack Vea did not get information about this claim as I did not have his number. His client did not let him know so it was a surprise to him. He called me and was very courteous and took care of me in a timely manner so that I could get my $500 deductible back. Having 2 hurricanes back to back was a very difficult time here in Florida. We had flooding at our home and in the process lost 2 vehicles with more than a foot of water in each. I contacted Auto-Owners and received a call back within hours. Our claim was handled by Jack Vea in Colorado. Some 80,000 autos were damaged by the 2 hurricanes and I thought - this will never get taken care of. I was so wrong. Mr. Vea did an excellent job and I just want to thank his firm and Auto-Owners for an amazing job.
