I was looking for a bank where I could get my two teenagers, 16 and 17, a student account. I had seen a billboard for BOM and thought they might be helpful and friendly compared to the big banks. I was wrong.

I walked up to a teller who seemed unfriendly and confused. I was told that I needed to bring in a social security card for each of them instead of a driver’s license. I have no problem with that, but it was the dull and unfriendly demeanor of the teller and desk staff that was disappointing. Very unmotivated. As we walked out the door, my daughter said to me, “Wow! Not toooo friendly there. I wouldn’t want an account there.” My son agreed.

Imagine how they are with people who already have an account established. This is why I have banked with Discover for over 10 years. We went down the road to Regions to experience better service.

I have banked at Old Monroe Bank in Wentzville for 10 years. They have a great staff that always makes you feel welcome. My dog also likes to visit the drive thru .She looks forward to getting a bone from staff.
