In July of this year our Lake Home on Lake Lanier was totally destroyed by fire. The following day I began researching for Fire Adjusters in the area because I knew that it would be next to impossible to try and deal with an insurance company with a fire of this magnitude.
After contacting three companies and also our insurance agent for a referral we were still undecided and frankly still in a state of shock. The next morning we decided to meet a restoration company at the site that was referred by our insurance agent.
BenchMark Public Adjusting Group was one of the companies I contacted the morning following the fire. I specifically remember speaking to the owner Judith Vickers because she was extremely knowledgeable and gave some very important advise without any prior agreement for hire. The next morning while meeting with the restoration company our insurance agent recommended and quickly realizing our best interest was not their primary concern Judith Vickers the owner of BenchMark Adjusting Group showed up without any prior meeting scheduled. It turned out to be a blessing that she showed up when she did. Her presence immediately changed the trajectory of the outcome.
We came to terms and BenchMark Adjusting Group began taking control of the site. Given the fact that our family has experienced Fire Loss in the past we were able to recognized just how lucky we were to have chosen this company to represent our interest in this matter.
Jennifer the chief operations specialist at BenchMark was an absolute "gem." Super professional, numerous years of experience, prompt responses throughout the ordeal, diligent, and extremely efficient. She analyzed our policy and submitted the pros & cons without delay.
Fire Loss Claims if not handled correctly can take months if not years and can produce extremely negative outcomes for the claimant. As a result of their services our outcome was very positive and a lot less stressful.
