We hadn't serviced the ducts since our house was built 15 years ago, so a cleaning was overdue. We did some research online and decided to go with this company. I must say that the results were not entirely positive. The crew showed up 3 hours late. They weren't Covid vaccinated, but agreed to wear masks, which was good. The crew wore masks most of the time. They did the work advertised according to the stated cost, but in the end the bill was well over $1,000 for a 2.5 hr service (with 3 people). The crew was polite and friendly, and they had professional equipment that we couldn't obtain ourselves. However, they forgot to plug in our garage refrigerator/freezer (which they had unplugged) when they left, a couple of vents (cost = $35 each) were only superficially cleaned because access was problematic, and we had to do some modest residual cleanup. I guess we had to have this work done, but for the price I would have expected more. EPA online guidance implies that duct cleaning isn't necessary every 2-5 years as industry-sponsored web sites recommend. Most of the stuff they removed was left over from shoddy work by the original builders of our house (including a 15 year old empty cigarette pack). We don't plan to have our ducts cleaned again for at least 5 years; we were satisfied to have the ducts cleaned, but this is not a high value service.

Andrew was professional and recommended I clean my dryer vent annually. This is the second time I’ve used them. I recommend them if it’s been more than a couple of years since your last dryer vent cleaning and is especially useful for complex dryer vents like mine!
