I used bolder insurance for homeowners and auto insurance for 2 years. First year, no issues, all great. Second year: my rep changed, and then the insurance they had found me dropped me, and then i tried to get them to start looking for new policies for me months before i was dropped so i could get ahead of the problem and the rep refused to start the search process until 6 weeks before my expiration which i think was poor customer service. Then 4 weeks before i am uninsured, my rep tells me he cant find decent coverage anywhere close to the rates i was paying before and that he "doesnt want to lose me as a client" but didnt have any real options for me. My wife and i then shopped ourselves directly with insurance providers and got multiple quotes for similar payments and coverage to what we had before. Why couldn't Bolder insurance find these quotes? What value are they bringing?

After year 1 i would have given 5 stars, but Bolder insurance IMO dropped the ball on my business, and tbh made me skeptical of insurance brokers in general going forward.

Top notch customer service. I reached out for help securing a new home insurance policy and heard back from Donnie that same day. He was friendly and helpful throughout the process. I appreciate that he sought to understand our situation and our needs, and that he didn't try to upsell us or require that we switch our auto at the same time.
