They denied my referral even though they agreed to pay it. Brand New Day left me with a $900 bill for a colonoscopy. They refused to let me get over the counter products, even though I'm due them. My doctor will not accept their new health plan. I'm changing my insurance next year to something better. They don't offer enough transportation benefits so I have to cancel 2 Neurology appointments, which were super important.

I wish I never switched to this Group. I have not been able to see a specialist. I finally got an approved referral to find out the Doctor still wouldn't see me. They stated they don't take this insurance. I'm so frustrated and I feel ignored by my Doctor who recommended this plan and assured me how great this plan would be. Do not select this plan. IT IS AWFUL!

My son went to local Walmart several times and wasn’t able to buy shampoo or lotion for me because local Walmart and local Target won’t accept the Brand New Day OTC $50 a month card for medicine!!! He tried to buy Jergen lotion, Cetaphil lotion, SheaMoisture shampoo, and OGX shampoo for me and my eldest son, but those products are not accepted anymore at these stores. The app and the website are terrible, the camera feature to scan products doesn’t work and my youngest son complained to Brand New Day twice about it and the company does nothing. The website doesn’t work ever and apparently, only dandruff shampoo under a certain brand is the only shampoo that can be bought. My youngest was told by a Brand New Day employee that Jergen lotion and Cetaphil lotion are accepted by my local Walmart, but that turned out to be incorrect. Also, he bought a leg machine from the Brand New Day catalog for my eldest son, but it was terrible as it moves away from you when you try to use it. Don’t know why they would bother to sell such a product in the first place, don’t they check before putting in the catalog? Brand New Day is falling apart and is a major source of stress for my family.

New to Medicare in 2021 I was offered Brand New Day by my insurance agent. My first thought was what a silly name. Then I read through the plan and was pleasantly surprised on all the coverages. Medical, Dental, Vision, Mental Health, Prescription's,
Healthy Meal Program, and much more. Next was cost! As it turned out it was the only one that with $00 cost beyond the mandatory Medicare deduction by SSI. So I took a chance!!!
Fast forward 2 + years 3 medical procedures, 2 surgeries, glasses, dental work and my prescriptions I have spent less than $500. The absolute lowest in my lifetime over a 2 year period.
Add excellent customer service, the ease of referrals, and most of all the enormous pool of physicians in my area.
Already re-upped for 2024.

Absolutely horrible place
My dad has mobility issues and is forced to spend the rest of his days in a rehab facility center. He has both medicare and Brand New Day. One of the things that keeps him going is having physical therapy. It gives him hope. We initially received 30 days of it through Brand New Day when he got released to the rehab facility. Then suddenly they stopped. We asked the nurse and she said that you are better off going WITHOUT Brand New Day and going through Medicare alone. We have reached out to them multiple times to stop the service and EVERY TIME they come up with a new excuse of how they can't do it. First they said that no one has requested physical therapy and if we request it we will get it. THAT WAS A LIE. Then they ask me to fill out a simple release form and I hear nothing back for a month and we call them and they tell us the form has been rejected. I would not recommend them to ANYONE. Honestly it's a bigger issue. This is what happens when your health care is run by for profit businesses. They try to give you as little as possible while charging you as much as possible. God bless america lol

My father lives in CA and has this hoaky insurance company. He has 100% blockage in one side of his carotid artery and 74% in the other. It took for months to get the angiogram to find this out and now we are on the 4th referral to see a surgeon because this company thinks it's okay to play with people's lives. Stay far away from this company! Do not use! Go to any other insurance company or your life will be at risk!!!

This is the worse health insurance! Please avoid at all cost ! The people working here are the worse customer service people ! Brand new day denied my dad to be seen by his LUNG transplant doctor simply because they want to save money somewhere else all because other interventions are cheaper ! My dad needed a special treatment done at his transplant clinic and Brand new day refuse to authorize the approval for him. They send him to an emergency hospital that has no idea what to do because they are not specialized in transplants ! My dads lungs are failing because he is not getting the special treatment he needs all because this insurance don’t give approval to be seen at the his regular transplant hospital ! I also asked for him to be transfer to the hospital that is experts in this treatment and my request was deny ! If you want to save your love ones life please avoid this insurance! They don’t care about people’s life they only care about people’s money .

Was conned into enrolling my disabled husband by his Drs.office. They told us it was a supplemental insurance that had adult care service options. After repeatedly applying for adult care services he never qualified for any. Dr Jimenez almost killed my husband by prescribing him the wrong medication. After complications he was given only one option of recovery center. It was very easy to enroll and now have to go through a long process to disenroll along with them calling me daily. I have had a very frustrating experience overall
