Gary was wonderful when I initially signed up for home and auto insurance. I called him 6 months ago fussing about auto insurance rates and was basically told yeah it sucks, some people's have gone up 200% or more. Now both home and auto were due for renewal. I found significantly cheaper insurance for both, with the automobile being 1/3 of the quote I received the carrier I had. He never once offered to try to find cheaper coverage for me. When I called the office to cancel my policies it was not completed. He was rude in an email exchange stating it wasn't his problem. I spoke to a lady today who did cancel my policies, but she couldn't stop the draft that is coming out of my bank account. Gary was just rude and made me feel like a nuisance.

As mentioned, Gary is great at getting good insurance at low rates. What is more difficult is dealing with Brightway servicing the accounts. Wait time to resolve issues through the phone with Brightway is something like 45 minutes now. Issues to resolve only come up every few years, so you'll still want to deal with Gary for the insurance, but you're not going to get the quick response that you used to get from Gary's staff directly.

You haven't had great customer service until you've done business with Gary Silverman at Brightway Insurance. Not only did he save us around $1,000 per year on our home and auto coverage, he is always incredibly helpful when I have questions. It's not uncommon for him to reply to emails after normal business hours either, even when I don't expect him to. His dedication to great service is truly appreciated!
