So far I have had no issue using the Cake Insure for my workers comp insurance package. We are a relatively small company with few employees but there were few if any Insurers who were willing to take us on since we are new. We were able to sign up for the Cake Insurance easily within about 1/2 an hour max and get insurance paperwork to our clients who were requesting them. It was quick and easy to do. I highly recommend Cake at this point in time.

Made obtaining workers' comp insurance super-easy for this first-time business owner. Easy to use quoting system on web-site, great follow-up with local customer service folks. Had an appropriate, affordable policy purchased within ~2hrs of my first visit to their site.

I have a policy in force with these people. I wanted to increase my payroll coverage. A simple, straightforward and common issue in the insurance industry. It took 5 phone calls, 3 emails asking for that change. I was placed on terminal hold, then I was promised a call back.... (I know, jokes on me right!) Not only is it discourteous not to contact a customer after promising to do so, it borders on pathetic.

Simply amazing that though I put it in writing for them and spoke to CAKE on the phone... they still got the numbers wrong. Called back, spoke to somebody else who I actually got the policy level correct but.... oh dear, dear, dear....attention to detail, did not bother to include a payment plan for the additional premiums as we discussed quite clearly and didactically.

I have several recommendations , stop try to be a "Hip" and "Cool" company, stop using my first name, we are not friends, and perhaps you may be able to provide the service of which I am paying you.

At this point I am sick of speaking to incompetent and unprofessional people. I decided to pay the entire amount up front so I won't have to deal with them again for a while.

Well, they did actually figure out how to write a policy, not getting a warm and fuzzy that there are not going to be problems with that as well.

CAKE was very helpful and sensitive in setting up our workers comp needs for our new housekeeper. They noticed that given the number of hours we were eligible for a lower rate than originally planned and sent us a refund. The office was knowledgeable about all the complexities and regulations of the insurance situation and were prompt and courteous in responding to our inquiries.
