I had the pleasure of attending a wedding event for wedding industry vendors at the Citrus Club in downtown Orlando, and I was thoroughly impressed by this glorious venue. Nestled in the heart of the city, Citrus Club offers an ambiance of elegance and charm that is hard to match.

Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the light and airy atmosphere of the room. The large windows provided breathtaking views of downtown Orlando, creating a stunning backdrop for any event. The venue’s setting truly enhances the overall experience, making it a perfect choice for weddings and various events alike.

The event planning team at Citrus Club deserves special commendation. They were not only professional but also kind and welcoming, ensuring that every detail of the event was meticulously handled. Their expertise and hospitality added a personal touch that contributed to the success of the evening.

Overall, my experience at Citrus Club was exceptional. From the impressive views of downtown Orlando to the warm hospitality of the staff, everything exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Citrus Club as a venue for weddings, corporate events, or any special occasion where elegance and a picturesque setting are desired. It’s truly a gem in downtown Orlando.

The personalized service is excellent and the food is amazing! I had the she crab soup and the lobster rolls. The soup is phenomenal and the lobster rolls are mouth watering just thinking about them. There is a good selection of items on their menu and I’m pretty sure no matter what you get it will be divine.

Went there for a veterans function. The room, food, and especially the service was excellent. Had filet mignon and I’ve got to say it was done very well. Now the cash bar was super expensive probably double what it should’ve been, but that comes with the territory.

All in all if you’re looking for an upscale venue to have your event, I definitely can recommend the citrus club.

This was a very different experience. The food was phenomenal. Clearly the chef knows how to make great food. We thought we might try this for magical dining and consider becoming members.

That’s a hard no.

Apparently there’s a 23% surcharge on every bill. So if you think you’re going to get two meals for $80 with magical dining, you are not. this surcharge came out to be $40 for us. That was not expressed on the menu, it was not expressed when we made the reservation, it was not expressed anywhere until the bill was laid on our table. The explanation from the manager was that’s how they pay their non-tipped staff. Well, how about you change your prices? How about you not participate in magical dining? Your members may be aware of this surcharge but nonmembers are not. The decor was strange, the view of Sunset was amazing, all things considered we will never go back. There’s plenty places to get good food without a 23% Surcharge.

The experience was second to none. We greatly enjoyed it.
The 4 star rating was due to food quality. My entree was lukewarm at best. Service was great and the unique experience was superb.

Went for a Dining in the Dark event, so that may have had an impact on the quality of the food, drinks and service. But I kind of think my experience was much more normal than The Citrus Club would ever admit

Pro: the short rib we were served as our main was incredible. Nothing else on the plate compared. End of pros list.

Cons: the first course was melon and prosciutto. It was extremely bland and the melon was under ripe. The dessert was a chocolate torte. I've had better from everywhere else I've ever been served this boring, generic dish. During the meal I ordered 2 Grey Goose dirty martinis. They were clearly made by 2 different people. The first one was ok. Good, not great. But good enough. It was served to me with no garnish. I had to ask for olives. The second one I ordered was not made with Grey Goose (but was charged as Grey Goose) and ranks as the worst dirty martini I've ever had in my entire life. Our server never checked on us or asked if we were enjoying our drinks, so I never had a chance to tell him. The service was also poor.

Nail in the coffin: the fees. The Citrus Club needs to adjust their pricing and do away with any service fee, plus the additional 20% that is charged on anything from the bar. I paid almost $150 for a 3 course meal and 2 drinks that was worth maybe $60 in any other restaurant.

Save your money, save your time, and eat literally anywhere else for better everything

We had our wedding here on 2/2/2020 and we're so incredibly happy with how everything turned out! We had the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception all at the Citrus Club and the day was absolutely perfect. Ben was great to work with initially and our planner (Runway Events) worked seamlessly with him once we brought them on. The facilities are absolutely stunning, food and drinks were delicious, and staff were awesome. Our guests were blown away by the views of downtown Orlando from the 18th floor and so many people told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. It was the perfect place for our perfect day.
