I contacted LInda via text to view a property she had listed. She told me we needed to chat via phone before she could show me the property. To which I said no problem, I’m available to chat anytime. When she called me she began questioning me aggressively on where I saw the house, if I was approved for a loan and with which institution specifically and if I had an agent I was working with. I answered all of her questions and clearly she had an issue with the fact I wasn’t yet working with a buying agent. She became more aggressive in her questioning and I let her know that my wife and I had worked with agents on 2 previous home purchases in Boulder where we viewed the houses to gauge the level of interest before contacting a buying agent. I even let her know who the agents were we had worked with @ Compass. At this point her inquiry became completely unprofessional and she stated I wouldn’t be able to see the house with my “attitude.” Which I had no attitude other than feeling mildly defensive due to her aggressive position & line of questioning. I was told I had an attitude 3 separate times towards the end of the conversation & that with my “attitude” I wouldn’t be able to view the house unless I first met her at her office. Which I of course declined. I would never work with an agent like this and highly recommend no one does. She would do better in a cut throat market like New York or L.A. Not Boulder Colorado where we value kindness in our community. I have lived here for 15 years and unfortunately come across transplants like Linda more and more often these days. Very unfortunate experience!
Update: I set up a viewing 6 days later with my agent whom lives in the neighborhood. LInda’s real-estate partner Chris was there unfortunately. He was equally as rude to me in person as LInda was on the phone. I asked him one question and he clearly had no interest in helping me in the least. I left the property feeling very uncomfortable and unfortunately as a result, have completely lost interest in this property.
IS it so hard to Just - Be - Nice -People!?!?

In response to your below reply Linda: I can completely understand the need for making safety of paramount importance in your profession. I am a husband & father of a 14 year old daughter. I gave you my full name before we spoke on the phone & cited numerous other details that let you know I was a serious potential buyer. You made an improper judgement towards me that I wasn't worth your time! There was zero need for concern around safety and when you denied me the ability to view the home you even stated it was because of my “attitude.” Nothing to do with anyone’s safety. Pretty clear from here you were just having a rough Saturday AM and chose to take it out on a potential buyer. Furthermore, I am a business owner and have been in sales for 25 years. I have never in my entire career spoken to anyone in the way you spoke to me on the phone. Totally rude and completely unprofessional. For no reason whatsoever!

Linda and Chris did a fantastic job with the estate sale of my dad's home. They were ahead of the process the whole way, and I was well informed throughout. Their staging and pricing guidance proved spot-on. Despite a cooling market, the place was under contract the day after it listed, and we ended up getting more than the listing price. They did a great job negotiating with the buyers and dealing with all of the administrative details surrounding the closing as well. I couldn't be more pleased with the process or the result, and I strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a first-class, consummately professional experience buying or selling real estate.
