I’ve never had to wait on hold to pay a loan for as long as I do every time I call coast central. If you only have 20-30 minute breaks you most likely won’t be able to speak with anyone let alone make a payment. The people are usually very nice and easy to work with once you finally get them on the line.

Love to keep my money local! Love everyone knows my name and is super nice!!! Besides the loan lady with bad attitude I refuse to do anything with her in cc . I drive to mckinleyville to get my loans or call over the phone. and I buy and sell lots of cars and houses . Get a better loan lady

EDIT: I was wrong; I had included them in the bankruptcy (about $500). They did let us open the new account after I paid it back. Still seems wrong, since I know they had sold the debt to a collector for at least a portion of that money but I have to say they were very nice about the whole thing when I went into the Crescent City branch to fix it. Nice people in the business service department, helpful and friendly.

So disappointed with #coastcentralcreditunion's terrible service! After banking with them for 30 years, they won't let us open a business checking account because we filed for bankruptcy 20 YEARS AGO. Didn't even have any money owed to them in the discharge. And now we have exceptional credit and good income, but I guess that doesn't matter... We have kept an account there, trying to do business locally if possible, but it's time to close accounts and leave bad reviews... Very disappointing.

Anytime I go in to my local branch, everyone is fairly nice and efficient. However, I am not pleased with the lack of help or resources on the weekends. I was denied comfort in New York City because my card did not go through when I booked a hotel and so I was charged twice as much per night and my card was not accepted!! I have no way to book my hotel because my account was frozen and unavailable over the weekend. The automated systems are of no help in this matter... I spent plenty of time on the phone trying to find a way around the issues.

ATM'S are always down. Closed on weekends and no customer service after like 5 of any kind. If it's a 3 day weekend and something happens with your card your screwed. What happened to banks only being closed on Sundays?

the woman in charge of accounts is a flat out liar . I recently lost my mother, My father and I went to remove her name from his account and add my name. everything was good until she ran a chex system and said that i had a report from a bank in Arizona and that federal law prevented her from adding my name to the account. Now I ask you since when does a company that is privately owned (chex system) become an agent of the federal government? Chex is simply a credit reporting agency that routinely denies people banking privileges with little or no supporting documentation . Teresa act Coast has a condensing phony Attitude and is a liar it is simply a policy of the credit union not federal law. she continued to deny that it was something other than a bank rule which i would have been fine with but she continued to try to play us for stupid. Accordint to the chex system website bank managers and credit managers have the authority to bypass the chex system if they so choose so Teresa and company chose not to therefore denying a greiving man a little peace of mind that in case something happened to him his son would be able to access his inheritance without hassle blaming on the feds instead of being transparent and saying we just dont want to. I can promise them this when the time comes they will no longer be making money off of my money and telling me what i can and cannot do with it because I will close every account that is there and they FOAD horrible horrible people
